I know where it is in my head, cant describle it to you well enough and I know someone will probably take a pic for you to identify. Its purpose is to pump water and collant around your engine, its that area where everything is i.e. thermostat and o ring and sometimes they are prown to leaking.

I removed my CC and took it off completely and my car took longer to start so I connected it all back up and exteded the hoses so I could move it down into the bottom the the wing / wheel arch. Because my inner arch isnt there the cc wouldnt stay up without falling out if I was to drive the car and didnt want to tape it on . I moved the cc down onto the sub fram where it lies straight and in front of the alternator and the bit on the end off the cc fits nicely into the hole on the subframe or cross member which ever it is. Anyway, sorry, my point is that the valve that the senson is connected to (green) makes a ticking noise like it is pulsating air,I know it should but the noise sounds like my engine tappity when its not. Do I just need a new valve? Since I connected it back up the car starts much quicker, so I would recommend that people dont remove and just re locate it to help the air feed to the relative air system you use.

Some people want screens for pose fator and some for the purpose it has. I would say that most of the screens I have seen in cars, certainly after market, then they are all on display. You can get an alpine headunit with the screen that slides out of the head unit and upand lies infront of the middle vents. As long as it doesnt sit proud of the dash then I think that would look cool, most things in life are illegal, going 35 in a 30 is illegal and we all do it. I like the screen in the ash tray, it looks cool but I would prefer mine to come out of the head unit and fold up and alpine is good kit. My plan is to get ,my C all tarty and when I get my screen I can play a dirty porno for people to watch.

You can get the dent done by companies like dent master and panel master who do brand new cars in show rooms that have had dinks etc. I have seen a brand new CL 55 AMG that I imported for a client and he had it for 5 minutes and his wife opened her ML 55 AMG door onto his new car and I just dug a big hole and wanted to die and all he said to his wife was, shall we buy another one joking around! I wish I had that sort of money! Some dent companies will have a look forf you and say wheather they think it will come out, ythey massage the dent out and even knoock the dent in more for them to be able to have a better start at removing the dent. They said to me that the dent I had, I borrowed a friends M3 Cabriolet and my cat was walking along the windo sill out side and knocked my mums candle holder which fell down the wall of the house, over the guttering and bank onto the bonnett and that even scrathed the paint so he said the dent will come out but may not be perfect but you would never have evn know that that dent was there, he even managed to almost remove the scratch. Being in the trade it was £35 and he even found 6 more little dents that we could never see. They use a metal pole that shows the angle of the dent, its very clever and worth giving them a ring.

Mate, if you feel under neath that plastic part you circled there is a small hole which you here a loud air leaking noise from. My car is a 92 93 vr and that is normall. I had this checked my self. If your idle is lumpy then I would check all plugs and leeds as that cured my lumpy idle problems and I havent cleaned the ISV yet so it may be even smoother.

I agree with those points too. The water pump outlet gets dirty and cakes up in crud and pushes the pipe off it slightly as a result. Take the pipe off and give it a dood run down with fine sand paper and a nice clean which will avaoid this from happening. You loose such a small amount but sometimes you dont notice it as the heat from the vr gets so hot and evapourates. Is your heating ok in the car?

Hi mate I would say its your fuel pump, get it checked to see if theres power there and even test the pressure as it may not have the balls to really push the fuel when on a slope. My friend had the same problem and we always had to push the car to make it level and it worked. See what other people say, im sure its your pump though. Kev was chatting about pumps too, maybe our C's are in season!
-
I was always under the impression that if the pump is noisey it was giving good preasure? Fair enough, if it is making other strange noises. Kev, why dont you try and get an uprated fuel pump, especially if your not 100 % sure on your injectors and uprate them too. Im sure new injectors would feel btter alone that the ones in your car. i.e. smoother power etc. I will investigate fuel pumps, or if uyou can help me out on good pumps that would be cool.

Ahh, my bumper has been meshed at the bottom, that why the sensor was dangiling down. I may be able to squeeze it in one of the holes in the mesh. Thanks for that!
-
Unfortunately I dont have the pic, my friend does and I will try and get a copy! You could always say that you saw a traffic polic car with it done so why cant we? Light smoke on the rear side windows its fine, im sure. Thats the only tint I would go for anyway as I think it gives the car a subtle look and tint of class 8)
-
I have seen the police T5 with full limo tint that one of my friends has a picture of, so if I did get into any trouble I would show the police my re search!
-
Excellent, thankyou. I will make sure mine gets clipped back in. It does look like its a more functional connector at first as I though, ' where the hell does that go to'!
-
Thas what I thought Andi had done, from the pic it looks very similar to the one that lies on the bumper. Could you tell me where the sensor should go by the bumper please? Mine just looks like its dangaling down.
-
Andi, Im sure that blue sensor is for the air temperature! :D
-
Its like being back at school! Joke, I think I know what you mean, if I have any problems the next time I want to quote I will give you a shout

Vw have stopped making the door membrane, all they give you now is plastic sheeting and double sided sticky tape rather than the proper cut out skin etc!
-
Ahhhh My car is a 93, I forgot the later models use the Plantinium plugs which arn't recommended for my 93 VR6. Which is a result!
-
How do I do it pleaseVR6, Thanks in advance :)

The last bit on my first reply, sorry , dont know who to get what I wrote in a grey box as reference but I mentioned that you may need to ben dthe contact out. Anyway, you have my number if you get stuck tonight. Talk later 8)

Yeah, have a read and it turned me off srtaight away,I would rather buy a set of good quality leads with good waranty background. 8) She has got a great arse! I never want to read what you have said because my eyes keep drifting left!! :D

JoeNose, make sure you check the head gasket, mine is being done as we speak! Just check that she doesnt leak oil from anywhere. Check the engine mounts and clutch by putting the hand brake on and lifting the clutch and listen for any noise from the clutch and get one of your mates to see if there is excess engine movement. Other than that, make sure you check the brakes and the coil pack and door handles and sunroof, make sure you try both tilt and slide a few times. Trust me you want a C with a working sunroof. Get him to check the wheel bearings too, always remember, these people just want your money so make sure you get from them what you need and that is a sound car and if your not sure and your fefinitely buying it, make sure its in tip top condition or haggle them down. I know his cars are very expensive, they all look like great cars so you should be getting a mint car but better to be safe than sorry!! All the best and nice choice of engine!! :D

My plugs were £3.50 each from VW and I bought them today! My car is A 93 VR6! POlus with teh 10 percent discount from VW if your a corrado club member of Great Britain its even less.

Mate we have a picture somewhere with the traffic police in a T5 fully stickered up with Limo tints all round!! We all ran over and took loads of pictures and someome from our group in a Saxso got done for the limo tint on jhis car so he gave the picture in / a copy and showed the traffic department and he got away with it, they still told him to take the tints off so there is definitely a grey area. I wouldnt say you will get a big fine, how long have you had the car for and if you have been pulled over by traffic policy they would have said something then!

Cheers guys, but IU have never been convinced on the Nology leads for some reason, I saw a couple og guys testing the leads out at Max power a couple of years ago to which I might add there were only 2 or 3 corrados!! The magnecor leads sound good, they are around £126 for the biggest set they do. The Nology leads you say work better with forced induction engines, why is that Kev? I had a look at their warqanty and that seems like they will sell you the product and not have anything to do with you. The said they wouldnt warant anything, race use or noraml use you are not covered for anything and the whole point of selling their leads they say is for improved combustion and Hp so if its designed for it why not warant the product. It is BLOCK CAPITALS and its that that had put me off these leads how ever goosd they may be. If you havent read the waranty Kev, have a buchers and let me know your thoughts. This was the first time I have looked into waranty of a product in detail I suppose it was because I was skeptable about them. Excuse my spelling!
