    Great wtite up mate, very detailed. My corrado is sorn'd at the moment and i have all the stuff(hopefully working as i never heard the donor running)lying in the garage to do this swap. But i have to say it's fairly daunting and i'm thinking i might kill the car if i start this :lol: Are you thinking of doing this for others? :profileleft::idea::lol:

    Also looked at mine, looks like a very vague - 7 stamped on the passenger side of it. Your more than welcome to come and look at it mate, it's in the garage so no standing in the rain, Sunny Glasgow :lol: Edit, the - should be above the 7 but not happening on the phone

    I have a mk2 golf one in mine, same issue with the 'L' the wrong way round, snapped it off, problem solved :)

    I know the subframe differs but I'm asking about the front crossmember, the bit the front engine mount attaches to. Edit : Too slow as usual lol
