    Had another look mate, the golf wiring, which I have in the garage is slightly different so I can't see where that would have been, and it's not something that's on the Corrado either, I can follow the wiring and it has a stud, but it's got nowhere to go......I'm guessing that bracket is long gone on it. Sorry I can't help mate

    Ok, gives me a better idea, not at home just now but heading back soon, not holding my breath though as I don't remember loosening the slave bolts, but if it was there it'll still be in the car somewhere (hoarder lol)

    Had another look there, doesn't seem to be anything on the slave on the golf? Also looked on the Corrado but I can't see it on there either? Just not sure what I'm looking for?

    The internals are the same on older sharan/galaxy switches......just saying as my old switch was in bad nick, got a sharan one for £5 off eBay and it only took a minute to swap over......you could use it as is but the Corrado housing looks better obviously :)

    Where abouts on the gearbox is it mate? All wiring has been removed so I can't follow any

    I might still have it in the mk3 VR6 I'm breaking? Not exactly sure what it looks like though as it might already be moved? I'll go and see just now with a torch lol

    Interested in the Front subframe and wishbones? They are for a VR6?

    Ignition switch.......there is a guide on how to bypass it, which would at least rule it out, only takes a short while to do. Very common for these to fail

    If you need something to sit it on, I have a few spare sets of wheels,speedlines/solitudes ,all in dubious condition, but mostly with tyres.......and your not far from me either

    Daft question time..... Would the shifter from a mk3 vr6 be any good? ie, would it be a straight fit back into my Corrado? Only asking as I have an old mk3 vr that is heading for scrap soon :)

    Nothing like a new battery, i had to buy one yesterday for my old sharan, massive big thing, same issue as you, leave it a couple of days and wouldn't start, new battery in and i swear it even runs better :lol:
