What colour of coolant reservoir lid do you have?

How is the heating inside the car? My old valver started overheating and on short journeys too. Turned out the water pump had failed, the blades had all sheared off

Not sure if it would cause similar problems to yours, but my release fork snapped, and I remember at the time other people had had the same issue? Worth checking it if you're taking the box off anyway.

I have a set of 3 gauges, looks similar to that, although not as blingy. I'll have a wee look in the garage when I get home. Never fitted them and never will :lol:

Fairly sure they are just rubber, and that it's your door that's rusting......got a similar issue on mine......got a replacement door to put on at some point too :)
