Mine has no silver panel? It does have a K&N filter sticker lol, so silver panel might be under that? Part number of the spare is 021 906 462, it's a BOSCH and it looks just like the one on the car

I have a spare maf mate,plus one on the car, how many pins is yours? Mine is 4 pin. Only asking as I've seen a VR6 with different pins, 5 I think? If yours is 4 you are welcome to try them out :)

Great wtite up mate, very detailed. My corrado is sorn'd at the moment and i have all the stuff(hopefully working as i never heard the donor running)lying in the garage to do this swap. But i have to say it's fairly daunting and i'm thinking i might kill the car if i start this :lol: Are you thinking of doing this for others? :profileleft::idea::lol:

Also looked at mine, looks like a very vague - 7 stamped on the passenger side of it. Your more than welcome to come and look at it mate, it's in the garage so no standing in the rain, Sunny Glasgow :lol: Edit, the - should be above the 7 but not happening on the phone
