Done :) -
That's what I was hoping for Jim

Mine was replaced by whichever I got from TPS, I'm guessing genuine part, also got the clutch fork replaced at the time(as it had snapped, reason for change) and it has been perfect ever since. No idea if the fork would/could have any effect but worth a mention?

Just the free one mate, I also have a code reader that I've yet to try,not sure how much the free one tells you as I've only used it a couple of times
-
Not sure mate, I'm not that knowledgable , hopefully someone else will know? I've probably got a spare ISV and damper box too
-
Also, I'm sure I've read that the sponge in the damper box can break up and get sucked into the pipes? Might be worth taking them off to check they are clear
-
If you want to try these MAF's, I'm in all night, and planning to watch the football, so not going to sleep anytime soon
-
Mine has no silver panel? It does have a K&N filter sticker lol, so silver panel might be under that? Part number of the spare is 021 906 462, it's a BOSCH and it looks just like the one on the car
-
I have a spare maf mate, plus one on the car, how many pins is yours? Mine is 4 pin. Only asking as I've seen a VR6 with different pins, 5 I think? If yours is 4 you are welcome to try them out :)
