  1. The Corrado is a very versatile vehicle but I think it'll be a push to get a couple of wardrobes in one.... ... that said, you guys are welcome to try and help. Plus the local pub is meant to be pretty good at the new place, and I might even be able to lay on a few mugs of tea?!
  2. A team of Corrado's transporting my stuff around Cambridge?!? That'd be a sight!
  3. I'm in (assuming I'm not moving that weekend)
  4. A puppy and a new born, are you mad?!? Car looks good and loving the artistic shots, very nice.
  5. Been offered a Scott Sub 10 commuter bike, 2009 model, for £300. Anyone know if they're any good and is that a fair price?
  6. Hmmm.... Well I own a Piano and 2 guitars but actual playing them might be pushing it..... or not recently at least!
  7. I'm out but I've always got time to say happy new year to you lovely lot!
  8. Local meet is always on the cards chaps. If we can sort a date and venue I'm in. Also, happy to have a bit of a drive if people a bit further are organising anything. Very keen to get out and about this year, get to some shows etc. half the reason I came back to the Corrado is the social side of it all. Maybe a trip further a field? The worlds our oyster etc etc
  9. Wouldn't mess with the toe as you'll get premature wear of the tyres even in a straight line. Not good on a road car. I'd be tempted by -2deg if I was tracking it more but see how you get on and you'll feel a lot of difference in that half a degree.
  10. Checked the paperwork. Mine were dealer, £45 for the pair. It was spring plates I got from g-weeks.
  11. I got mine from g-werks but they've folded. I'll dig the invoice out this afternoon and hopefully it'll have a make on them. They've been perfect for the last 20,000 miles and still look/feel good.
  12. What do you have it set at currently? I run mine at -1.5deg which gives a nice crisp turn in and corner feel (IMO) but the downside to that is the increase in tramlining effects. Be interested to hear how you get on.
  13. Just seen they've finally updated the Autometrix event calendar and the VW/Audi day isn't going to be until August 15th next year! Might try to organise something track biased before then.... And I've never been to Ultimate Dubs so I'll definitely be trying to make that one this year.
  14. Well I don't think the engine itself is that much lighter that it'll be noticeable. The plastic manifold obviously helps but the cylinder head itself is bigger and heavier. Block is almost identical. In the past I've found tyres can make a huge difference. That coupled with an overhaul of the hydraulics may give you that additional feeling through the steering wheel that translates to better handling. Either way it's all good!
  15. Seriously impressed with these lights! Having driven back from deepest Suffolk the other day and even with the uprated loom it was terrible so I'd love a more effective solution
  16. Ross - good luck with the boat. Nikki - great to see you back. Looking forward to the new build thread.
  17. Ah bugger, gutted about the wheel chap. If it's any consolation I had to move over for a police car the other day and the old dear in front slammed on her brakes and cut right across me forcing me further over so I just clipped the curb. Thankfully it was just the Rota's rather than the BBS but it's made a right old mess.
  18. Good work on the pass, although not much of a doubt given the work you've done. Do these per the manual and ignore the MOT tester. They're meant to have a little play in there Congrats mate
  19. Maybe not that particular Mach 1.
  20. Corrado used on Christmas day for the first time for me. Coal delivery vehicle because my son was insistent. Hope you're all having a great Christmas.
  21. Only two days then it's over. Merry Christmas everyone, the end is in sight!
