^^ agree with the above. Looks great, and just like my old 205 gti!

I know, I know! Currently in the process of moving to a place with a garage... then I'm hoping to actually complete a few projects without having to take the car somewhere else to work on it safely. Thankfully not many 24vT's yet Matt, so I could still be classed as 'unique'.... ish....
-
We'll be a rare breed soon at this rate! ...... but it is tempting....
-
Hard to get your knee down in a 'rado though.... All these VRT's that are appearing.... it's going to be bad for my health and bank balance soon!
-
Sean let me try his car and I'd suggest is was definitely a worth while upgrade. I may still do it myself but with the 4pots my braking is pretty good already. If I get a chance to strip it down in the future I'll definitely do it.
-
Speak to Sean_Jaymo mate. He's done it on his recently and offered me a load of information when I was considering doing the same upgrade
-
Which foam from the site mate?
-
Happy birthday mate. Hope you've had a great day.... Even if working on the car was involved!
-
Cheers guys Sean - if I can't get any I'll take you up on that, but I'll replace of course.
-
Cheers gents. Get the feeling putting it back in will be interesting but so far so good. If I get a chance I'll do more in the evenings as well. Anyone recommend any particular loom wrap? I might as well tidy it up if I can. May also try to fix a couple of rattles if anyone recommends some adhesive foam?
-
So quite the productive afternoon. Start Middle End And surprisingly the foam on the directional flaps seems in good order So overall pretty successful. Could've gone further but without being able to complete the job (matrix not arrived yet) I thought I'd leave the rest until the weekend.
-
Right. I've managed to secure a day off on short notice so I'm going to get started on stripping this down today. Hopefully my new matrix will arrive tomorrow and I can build back up over the weekend..... Wish me luck!

This looks fantastic Pat! Big fan of the Motorsport look myself, and have to say I prefer the dark interior. Good work mate.
-
Oh lord, the first time I washed car parts in the dishwasher was a fun day.... Amazed I'm still here tbh!
-
Hmm, no response from Jamie.... maybe his missus really wasn't happy!

How much has been spent on your Corrado over the past 10 years?

No way I'm looking, ignorance is bliss! -
Top corrado enthusiasm!

Thanks darling, I'll get the WD out later. When you say usually?.......

VR6 rebuild - Downpipe and exhaust tacked up

Last time I spoke to Graham he'd gotten rid of this and was driving a Boxter.... or 911, can't remember which.... and he doesn't come on here anymore unfortunately -
Mines doing the slow painful death treatment at the moment but I won't drive it again now until it's fixed to try and save the interior getting too wet. If anyone hasn't had this replaced on their car and they're having the dash out I'd just get it changed as a precaution, or at least give it a good visual check to see if it's in good shape.
-
Cheers guys, I know a lot of you have had the same pain... It's a corrado rite of passage!
-
My nearest gsf now a 50 mile round trip so I think I'll er on the side of caution and get the valeo one. I was hoping to do it tomorrow but I'm free next weekend as well so can look at it then. Cheers for the advice guys.
-
Tried my local gsf and they didn't seem to know the make available in stock. But he did sound about 15!
-
Bit of a revival. Mines gone pop now, is the general concensus the valeo one is only available to order online now? Dealer want £177 and I don't trust the non-descript brands from GSF and ecp.
-
That's one word for it! Sean - I'll be there with you in spirit.
