Looks really good mate, no wonder you're happy!
-
Can you get at the adjusting screws without taking the sunroof trim out?
-
All good here. Told you they'd go quick!
-
Having a clearout mate? Think these will go pretty quick.

Late VR isn't it Ian? You shouldn't need anything else to get it working other than a 10bar two pole sender which replaces the old oil pressure sensor, and a bit of wiring. There's a guide in the wiki - http://wiki.the-corrado.net/gauge_pod_fitting_guide.html

Go on then mate. Send us your paypal details.

How much for the airbox mate?

John Mitchell JMR Ltd 4WD 16V Turbo Corrado Build

Fantastic work as always John, can't wait to see the final article. -
Unfortunately you'll never get the same initial pedal as with standard sized calipers due to the fact, as Supercharged pointed out, you're increasing the relative surface area the fluid needs to fill to move the pistons. On a standard VR the piston size is 38mm diameter so an area of roughly 1130mm2. On my AP's each caliper has a 38mm piston and a 41mm piston, giving an area of roughly 2450mm2 that the same master cylinder needs to fill. That's a 117% increase in area which is why you get the initial travel and then a nice firm feel. Just wait until you try them in anger, you get used to the travel but then they're brutal at stopping you from speed.

You're welcome to give it a try mate... and that post has properly whetted my appetite for a bit of turbo fun. You're not a million miles from me if you fancied a meet up, I can get a trip in a VRT (haven't been in one in years!) and I'll bring the camera along!

Space seems to be the main issue. You're restricted on boost levels with the plastic inlet manifold but on the Corrado the slam panel is a bit close to make a short runner fit. Then on the exhaust side you ideally need a manifold that splits the cylinder banks correctly for the lambda trim, and only HPA make such a manifold at the moment... and that alone is about £900. Then it's pretty similar to the VR but after your manifolds are sorted it's a relatively straight forward fit anyway. ATP do a kit that's pretty good value ($3250) but it doesn't split the cylinder banks. Looking at these threads always makes me tempted, and I've really got a hankering for a little project at the moment, but until someone makes something more suitable that I could fit at home I'm not sure...

I've kind of gone the other way recently. I always wanted to Turbo mine, spoken at some length with various people on here and people in the know such as Bill Schimmel, but just lately I've been thinking it's too much fabrication needed on the 24v to be practical for me to do myself and I can't justify paying someone else to do it for me. I love my GoPro, seems to work really well in most conditions. Happy to let you borrow it if you just want to give it a try?
-
You got a GoPro or something Nick? I'd love to see some videos. Kev - That's fair enough mate, I look forward to seeing that in action as well!
-
Are stealth making you something for your R32 Kev?

Haha, too job. Typical corrado to give one set of symptoms just for it to be something else. That's why it's usually a good idea to start with the easy stuff! -
Isn't the 1st anniversary traditionally Paper? If you're feeling brave maybe just a card!

So I've got a load of metal bushings which I thought were gear linkage related but offering them up today they seemed the wrong size. Now I'm not sure what they're for!

Just back from a quick spin and it's a noticeable improvement. Shift is a bit heavier but it feels much more precise and positive, more modern even. Top work Dave, highly recommend this mod.
