My god that looks fantastic.... might need to put my CH's back on!
-
Good choice with the CX, can't beat a nice 500 v-twin. My father's just got hold of one to restore. The fz looks like a nice machine. Used to have a similar age vfr750 myself, great bikes.

I'm going to buy a pre-73 vehicle and save myself the hassle of tax altogether....

Woops - AMG Merc crash at the Trafford centre (Gumball 2014)

A colleague of mine has a C63 coupe and it's a complete nightmare apparently if you're crazy enough to turn the traction control off, but with it on it's much more manageable if still a little brutal (as you'd expect for 474bhp) so you need to be sensible. But then he's not a complete moron and is unlikely to be driving his like this other guy anyway. Sounds fantastic when he takes it past the office just getting up to 30mph! -

At what point do these video's provide proof of dangerous driving for the police? -
Not a Corrado, just had my S4 B8 tweaked at MRC!

Nice power, and I'm sure it's a very nice car. Shame it looks exactly the same as every other A4. Any styling plans? -
Judging by this evenings exploits my drinks of choice have been red wine, rum ginger ale and a slice of lime..... And jäger bombs. Quality!

How do i post pictures from onedrive?

Nice pic, and nice Corrado storage base! How big is that file though? I'm on a 100mb fibre connection at work and that still took a while to come through! -
Kev may be right, but I'd still check a few other things first. PCV valve's tend to be a problem point, make sure that's working properly. Do you have access to a compression tester? I'm surprised no one has mentioned piston rings. I'd be checking those first, then keeping an eye on the oil level over 500/1000/2000 miles to see how much is actually being burnt off. Not sure if an 'Italian tune-up' wouldn't make a worn guide or ring worse tbh. Worth checking oil grade though..... and like anything to do with a Corrado, it's always a good idea to start putting away the pennies for later!

That looks fantastic. I've long thought red is a great colour for the Corrado, although many don't agree! Only thing I'd be tempted to do is remove the bump strips
-
Awesome news mate, glad it was sorted.

I need to stop reading this now. Before buying mine back I was going to go for an S3 but the lure of the V6 won over..... Having bad thoughts again! Looking good though mate, interesting to see how you get on at stealth.

Another shout for Evolva here. Fits perfectly and my 2yr old loves going in it, plus with the bucket seats it's reclined just right
-
Nothing wrong with a splash of colour! Looks like good Progress mate
-
Judging by Rogers attachment it would appear only the door for pin rod attaches to the plastic part, and the inner door pull rod has a separate attaching point lower down? That or I'm reading that completely wrong!

The black surround is just a holder so should come unclipped just be gentle. Then the bulb underneath is just push fit, kind of like an led. I believe all bulbs are still available from the dealer

Welcome along mate. You'll find loads of info on here... And some of the people are relatively normal! What kind of conversion are you after?

Told you there's always an angle! Catch up when you're back would be good, I'll make sure I get the BBS back on as they're easier to clean.... -

Couldn't pop round and do mine could ya? -
There's always an angle! ;)

In my build thread there's some pictures of wishbones/bushes etc if you need a point of reference. To me the one in the top of the picture looks correct. On the oil front, I'm sure I've got some bottles of synta silver somewhere which I'm unlikely to use as the 24v runs 5w40, and is only on about 60k miles at the moment. If you want/need them just send me a PM

Top work, hope it continues to go smoothly
-
Haha, love the before & after! Glad you all enjoyed your treats, still waiting on a few addresses for the remaining bars.
-
You're welcome mate, just a little bit of fun!
-
Awesome! I hope my track car is this good once it's finished.
