Sorry i meant they are the same. Think the bolts are straight taper instead of VW radius. Seems everybody uses straight taper instead of radius.

Yes the PCD and offset are pretty much the same but the centre bore is 60mm as opposed to 57.1mm for VW's.

I might be getting a set of wheels that were originally on a Renault Clio but I am wondering what size/thread/pitch the renault bolts are? Also what kind of seat they use for the bolts?

There the same size. Not sure on them but they are cheap and 7" wide with good tyres.

Cars only 4 stud and those would most likely be 5 stud. I would love to fit a set of TT competition alloys on but that would require changing the front hubs are rear brakes to 5 stud. Oh and I recken that car handles soooo much better with the 15" on instead on the 16".

Some new pics. Sold the Momo's on to Tempest. Back with the black detailed Estorils with 5mm spacers which I actually quite like but they are pretty scabby up close. Thinking of some new wheels but really dont know what to get. Must be 15" and look OE.

Pity it looks shit and if you pay £87k for what is basically a Rover you are mad. Think what else you could get for the money. They were just so stuck in the past as a company, thats where the problem lay. They should have just gotten rid of Rover, downsized and concentrated more on the MG. Its sad that thousands will be out of work but I for one wont lose any sleep that Rover will be gone. Look at Triumph. They have adapted to what the market needed bringing out new bikes and diversifying in the market even after there plant burnt down.

Yep, often happens when there is a small air leak. Check round the joints for carbon deposits. Does it only do it when its hot?

I realise that I need longer bolts on the front as there is no way I was going to run the car with that little amount of thread. The thing I wasnt sure about was why is the front wheel held in by less thread than the back?
