You had to be damn low or cambered road for splitter to be scuffing on a level road. Probably front wheels on liners. -

Was it the wheels rubbing? -
Haha, I totally love the way this has gone. Anybody tried uprated shocks, standard springs and stiffer rear ARB?

Audis do feel very nice. My brother has a A6 2l Tdi estate as well. Interior is nicest out the lot but he has had problems with it as well. I suppose you have to look at it against what it will be worth if or when you come to sell. Audi will cost more but you would expect to loose no more, probably less than the others so in real terms its probably the best financial decision. Would have to be the 3l Tdi though.

I asked about B6 Passat recently and was warned away from them. E-handbrake and a lot of model specific issues. Every model is going to have its bad points but the guy that wroked on them was adamant to aviod. I suppose he is only ever going to see them when needing fixed mind you. Im kind of looking at changing the 3 series for something bigger and looking at all these at the moment. E61 5 series is another one to add to the mix. Value for money and space/practicality goes to Skoda Octavia, driving pleasure/looks is E61, bargin is Passat and Audi does all but doesnt stand out for any one reason to me Im afraid.

Jesso, thats some amount of work.

Whats about the Octavia, its has almost as much room (as much as an A6) and they are better looking IMO.

Ironically it looks like I dont need a kit, as suspected theres nowt wrong with mine that I could find.

Jesus, Ive done Poole to Aberdeen in that time.

If I replace Im going back to decent shocks and springs.
-
Thats why I was surprised when they said but saying that Ive hardly driven the thing this year and jumping between a few cars it always feels agricultural. Theres also another company that are good called motorsportworld for decent prices. Ive got the original stuff so might just put that on so I can get eye to eye with some RangeRover drivers again.
-
I doubt they would overturn it. Im happy anyway as I was contemplating more expense which may now not be needed. Might just whip the beam off and do the whole rear end while Im there.
-
If you could thanks. Thing is I sprayed the shocks with a coating over the winter and I think they have seen that and though that the shocks were leaking as I cleaned them last night and didnt see any signs.
-
Go for it, would rather get a full kit including springs if I can. Tempted to go for a Koni SRT kit for all Id used the car for now anyway.
-
Ive apparently got 3 shocks leaking on my car so new suspension kit will be needed soon. Just wondering if anyone has a decent kit for sale before I go ordering something. Something uprated and in decent condition please.

Was away to say, your number 4 would be my number 1.

You could argue that they are worth the money as they should retain thier value. Not many things do that. I couldnt stick a set of wheels on thats as worth as much as the car. Hell id struggle to do that on anycar.

Depends on the look your going for, I dont find the CH's that agrressive especially in silver. They are too sublte, the Rota's suit that look much better but dare I say it in silver.

Caps were not from compomotive direct. A guy started knocking them out on ebay so I dont know if they were genuine or he had taken a mould and started doing copies. Managed to get another set for the MO's on the Audi but not sure if they are still going around.

Wheel shade looks ace in that photo.
