Nope, must have been Caol. Just looked again and its at Aberdeen harbour entrance. Some silly comments on it.

Seen this?
-
See it now. Never actually driven one of these but do like them.

Would help if people could measure from arch to ground, that way we could compare. As MicVR said best halding seems to come from when wishbones are at least parallel with ground however above that is even better. Looks wise that doesnt work. I have mine set just below that point as its the best compromise for looks and steering feel. The whole if your not rubbin your not dubbin is a load of tosh IMO. If your rubbing then there is something wrong IMO.

I cant see anything, is there a photo?
-
It doesnt mate, it just rested against it.

I agree however if you get a better car in the first place you wont mod as much. I had my 130i for 6 months and didnt touch a thing purely as it didnt need it and if you know me that bloody good.

Have to admit Ive really enjoyed the BM's Ive owned over the last few years, 120d, 130i and now 320d touring. Much better to drive than the quivalent Audi's that I tried at the time. Remember doesnt matter how fast you think it is either there is always something faster out there. If you purely bought a car in how much it cost to run you would be buying a Nissan or such like.

Get a running 2.8, swap it in to get the car running then strip this one to check the damage. Converting to OBDII with a 2.8 pretty much yeilds the same power as the 2.9 OBD1 engines anyway.

It was a local guy so not the same one.

Lol, thats the same wheel that was in it when I got it. Ollie, its better to have them than not, you need to keep an eye on everything when running a car like this and they pillar mounted ones are perfect for just glancing at espeically when your motoring along.
-
Keep the inserts black on the wheels but the face body coloured. Black doesnt show of the details and I think gloss black would show less due to the relfections etc. I too love them for their quirky look. Ive seen 17in 5x100 versions before.

Some photos of it in the car and trying to show the mark on the top, its a very slighy score but it hasnt really shown up. I was just going to get a domed VW badge for the top to go over the current one.

LWS Design - Carbon or GRP Tailgate.... Finally
coullstar replied to Andrew_LWSDesign's topic in Suppliers Forum
Whats the cost of the GRP for this? -
Cool, its not. I'll try and get photos tomorrow if not at the weekend now as the Corrado's in the lock up in town.

Selling me knob, the gear one that is. Its a Forge large weighted big knob. Links to photos below are what it looks like. Diameter is bigger than standard and as its weighted so it helps with gear selection feel. One slight mark on the top. Will try and get photos of the acutal one before any sale goes through. Much much better than standard knob. The inner piece slides over the std shaft and is secured with a grub screw, the outer is then screwed to the inner piece. therefore it should fit most cars with the same size shaft. Currently on the Corrado. 6 speed no logo. http://www.forgemotorsport.co.uk/content.asp?inc=product&cat=&product=FMBK Looking for £45 inc postage to UK. http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g252/nmcp1/FMBK/FMBK_3.jpg http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8161/7551423840_a43ffc706a_z.jpg

Water or oil temp?
-
Low pressure can also be caused by other issues so its a primarily a pressure issue not temperature issue.
-
Its a low oil pressure buzzer. Engine flush, sump off and check oil pump pick up then see if its still doing it.
-
Id thought I was keeping these but have decided to have a garage cull so these are going. Price as above is £750 for the 5 wheels and 4 tyres. They have been off the car since the advert was put up so no more wear and tear on them.
-
I think we are mere custodians of such cars, I always though of it as James car to be honest. Its great how it is still a bit of a sleeper.
-
Furry boots is that? Nice place, when the suns out.
-
Both look great. RC's are a lot classier and I think suit the style of your car better. Im still in two minds but rekcon I will be changing the colour on my compo's as they dont look as good in the dark grey.

Leonard's Corrado VR6 - 515bhp 5.9L's twin scroll turbo ;)

Oi, nowt wrong with a 320d!! Cant believe how many folks still have their cars. Saying that Im pretty sure mine is going to be parked up soon if I can find a house with a double garage. -
My mate works for one team and from what i know they wouldnt let anything away that is even near current so I suspect you will have to look for something a bit older.
