Ron's Blackberry VR6 - A11 VRX - Getting her back on the road
n3p replied to Hofmiester's topic in Members Gallery
Congrats, although I give it 2 months before you decide to go stage 2 :D -
Having similar problems, clocks go blank as soon as I turn the engine off. Fuse 21 keeps blowing as soon as I put in a replacement. Disconnected the glove box light which fixed my problems for about a day, so it's now a case of checking everything else that the fuse is related to :( Good luck with your search too!

Sounds good, no doubt you'll be greedy for the Stage 2 soon after though! I'm running a Vortech V1 Stage 2... with standard brakes! -
Cannot believe these haven't gone. Bill, I may be interested in taking them off your hands in a couple of weeks time although you're too far away for me to collect. Will check back. Nick

Good work, will this be a stage 1? What charger unit is that? If interested I have a spare Mocal Oil cooler going for cheap - no hoses or sandwich plate though, just the cooler itself... Nick -
If you're willing, then I'll happily buy the 1 spare if it makes selling a set of 4 easier :norty:

Rare/Sought After/Desirable Corrado parts - What Ya Got?
n3p replied to Jamie's topic in General Car Chat
Splash guards! Genuine, still packaged "Storm" gear surround sticker I wish I had an ultra rare Karmann interior :( -
I'll take a set please, godsend!
-
I approve, nice work Andi. Don't know if I told you this, but it was seeing your old purple C around Redhill/Reigate yeaaaars ago that made me want to get one (I used to live in Earlswood). Small world! Right, enough butt kissing - back to work!

Team : Crystal Palace. You'll find me in the lower holmesdale end next season This season? : Hopefully Premier League survival, but won't be surprised to see us go straight back down! Game youre looking forward to? : After a long stay in the Championship, I'm looking forward to most games. Will be strange to be against Zaha though! Players? : Need all the help we can get! But a couple of defenders and another striker would be good

Do you have an early or late bonnet?

Those of you running FI- is it normal to have a stronger fuel smell when starting? Wondering if I need to get it checked out. I have uprated injectors and fuel pump, standard cat, new MAF. Car runs on V Power Nitro+ if that makes any difference. Cheers

Looks amazing, you've done a really good job there and I'm drawing some inspiration from it! Kept meaning to come and say hello but you were mid-conversation with others every time and didn't want to butt in!
-
I was very close to selling up recently, and I still sometimes have thoughts to. Someone on another thread made a good point though - If you're still looking back at your Corrado when you park it up to admire it, then you will definitely regret it! Forced Induction is the answer ;) If I were in the market for a similarly priced/age car though (after selling the VR) I'd probably take a punt on a Celica GT4 (Once you get over the stupid looking spoiler;) )
-
Missed each other again! I did try and find your car actually, but it seems now that every other Corrado is Classic Green! obviously the best colour ;) There's always other shows anyway, I'll make more of an effort to look out for you in the future :salute:
-
Totally forgot about this, sorry. Probably won't get round to fitting or anything for a long time so i al happy for anyone to take my spot
-
Likewise mate, I was really impressed with your car actually. Never used to be a big fan of dragon green but in the flesh it looks so much nicer IMO. The wheels really compliment the car too. I'll slowly tackle the the engine bay when I get a chance, think I'll have to get some tips of Daves16v! Nick
-
Good seeing you James, lovely car you have there. Very true, my engine bay has been something I've put off for a long time (as you saw, what lurks beneath isn't pretty!), and the National Day has given me some inspiration to get it sorted. Still have a long way to go to get the car to look as good as most of the others on show. Now, sell me your seats! :norty:
-
Thanks! Not nearly as nice as yours - congrats on the win! I actually did wonder who owned the mint engine bayed car near me at Stanford Hall, you've done a great job. Mine is on KW V2 coilovers

Couple of pics of mine from the National Day (also on the main thread). Was a great day!

National Day London/Surrey/M4 convoy anyone?
n3p replied to n3p's topic in Event Announcements & Discussion
Likewise, worked out well in the end... apart from the slip wrong turn blip! Nice meeting you all -
25th Anniversary National Day - Castle Combe
n3p replied to vornwend's topic in Event Announcements & Discussion
Had a good day, the convoy down made the M4 more interesting... I was laughing at some of the bewildered looks of drivers and passengers in other cars as 5 Corrado's roared past one by one! Great to see some old faces and meet some new ones, although I didn't catch what some of your usernames were here (please make yourself known!). I feel the standard of cars today was really good and everyone had obviously made an effort. Congratulations on the winners, all the hard work has paid off :) Not that I'd be in the running, but a couple of you told me later that you'd voted for mine... You're nuts, but thanks  Didn't manage to take many photos, just quick snaps but if you're car is in the frame you may appreciate them. Of course I had to buy the pics of my car on the track.
