-
Planning my trip now, my girlfriend is actually wanting to go this time! Putting the corrado into the bodyshop ASAP. Anyone else going? If so, what route are you planning to take? Nick
-
Quite liking my dashboard at the moment. Replacing my foliage seal with sealant is probably the best though
-
£500 for the Schrick? collection possible depending on where in London you are
-
what name do we call our corrados? Mines called bully
n3p replied to bully's topic in General Car Chat
Don't have a name for it, but my colleagues call it the 'Corrodo'. It's not even rusty! They just think any car over 10 years is a banger -
Corrado Carbon Fibre Bonnets - Group Buy - LWS Design
n3p replied to Andrew_LWSDesign's topic in Parts for Sale
Do you know the total weight saving over a standard corrado bonnet? For both carbon and fibreglass Thanks -
Met some guy today who with his brother owns a body shop in Croydon. Can't remember the name but I took his number and will be going to visit in the new year to see examples of work etc. Was quoted £1900 for a windows out respray. You're more than welcome to come with me, I'll let you know when I plan to go. Nick

Looks good! Were you a cow in a previous life?
-
Thanks for the comments guys :) Not happy until the front end gets refreshed though. EJ Taylor - They are genuine... only taken me about 3 years to find a set!
-
Couple more pics, as you can see the front end needs a bit of attention... Paintwork next! Needs to be wound down a little more methinks
-
Don't think it is. Had the same leak as you by the way, it was the foliage cover
-
Cheers Alex 8) Too right about the Milltek! It had been gathering dust for a very long time. Cheers for supplying it, sounds just right. Couldn't believe the size of the stock 'suitcase'! Thanks :) Will take some better pictures soon
-
Nope, completely different car and plate! He posted a picture of his storm on Gareth's CHs a page or two back to show how the wheels would look :) but it's something to aspire to!
-
Who's Andrew? Do you mean C5OEM? He posted his storm on CHs earlier in this thread but I wish I owned that car! :)
-
Thanks for the comments gents, means a lot and makes it worthwhile! Jim, unfortunately the seats aren't Recaros :( But it's something I'm thinking about in the future ;) The car is far from perfect though, the next plan of attack is to get the bodywork sorted out. I'm hoping to go to Worthersee next year so I'd better hurry up!! Nick
-
 you're making me blush! But seriously, it was no problem at all. Like I mentioned before, us CFers have to look out for eachother! Just goes to show that us Croydon boys aren't all bad! :) Nick

Got the wheels, KW V2s and Milltek exhaust fitted today by Reuben at Tuningwerkes who stayed late to get the job done - cheers Reuben! I'm going to leave the car for a couple of weeks to allow the coilovers to settle before I finalise the ride height (think it can go a bit lower!). Also thinking about spacing out the rears a little, my arches are going to be rolled eventually for the RS's anyway. The Milltek completely transforms the sound of the car too! Pleasantly surprised, it's not too in your face unless you give it some beans. The KWs are also a hell of a lot more comfortable than the Weitecs on my old valver. Only had my crappy phone to take some pics. The car is filthy too so I'll endeavour to snap something more presentable when I have free daylight. These pics don't do the wheels justice: Needs to go a little lower. Tip: don't take a dual action polisher to a rear VR6 badge as it buffs off the silver! Milltek As mentioned, proper pics to come shortly

Any updates OP? -
That looks soooo friggin good! May I ask how low you went in the pics? OSV - have PMd you
-
Well they arrived, see my members gallery thread for pics if interested. OSV - I've kept hold of the old tyres, haven't had a proper look at them as it got dark but at a guess I'd say 2 have 4-5mm tread and the other 2 have about 3-4mm (although the ebay ad states differently so maybe I'm talking crap). Will take some pictures for you and have a proper look tomorrow if interested? If not let me know and I'll get them disposed of unless anyone else is interested. Continental Contact Sport2 225/45/17 91Y. Nick

Hello again Rams - I guess that could work, when I drop off my gear gaiter I'll take them and see if he can sort it out. In other news, if anyone hasn't seen the thread already, the almighty BILLCOR spotted a genuine set of BBS CH006s that I gave up looking for a long time ago. Put in an offer not expecting to win but it was accepted within 5 minutes. They came with 225/45/17 tyres which looked massive so I got them wrapped in Falken FK452s in 205/40/17. My KW V2s are finally getting fitted next Thursday (they've been gathering dust for over a year). OSV has assured me that I shouldn't need any arch rolling done, but I guess i'll have to see how low I'd like to go once the coilovers settle in for a bit. Some pics anyway. Will look into some new centre caps once my wallet has forgiven me: On the 225s... not gonna work! Much better: Will update again once everything is fitted. Hopefully my RS's should be ready for the good weather, so these will make a nice winter wheel!

Hi mate, Sorry just seen this reply! Your leather everything is looking great, especially in black as it is a lot more subtle. I think if I were to go down the same route in beige it would be totally overkill! One downside to all the freshness I've found is that I always have to make sure i'm clean and hopefully not wearing jeans for fear of damage! Just got some rims I've been searching years for, so that'll be sorted next Nick

Think it was a glitch, as I have just been informed that the wheels arrived!

AJ Turners just off the Purley Way in Croydon are excellent, friendly and honest. One of the guys there says he loves Corrados too and back when I had a 16v he knew everything about those engines. BTW Corrado_Sunderland, I don't think he'll be able to get work done at G Werks

Both look great on the CH's! Think I made the right choice :) Just checked the tracking, really hoping sods law isn't going to enforce itself upon me this time. Where the smeg is the 4th item!
