Looks awesome, I remember wanting a set of those wheels for mine years ago! I'm constantly toying with the idea of upping the power on mine, but the only place I can see who sell Rotrex kits are Storm Developments and the prices aren't pretty! Guess I'll keep browsing ebay and the classifieds... Nick

I've heard of people using something called a Jewellers Rouge, but not had any first hand experience with it.

I have re-registered to the CCGB, awaiting a confirmation e-mail so I can stick my name down. Car is in the bodyshop tomorrow to get some things (hopfully) fixed in time... MOT next weekend too so fingers crossed it all goes to plan. You can also stick mine out of the way as it ain't looking pretty at the moment! Just noticed it starts at 8am... do most arrive earlier? :gag: Nick

Clumpy 1 - recommended seller. Faultless throughout and everything arrived promptly

Would be interested in a couple of Storm badges. If you're selling, please PM me.

That arse picture is annoying when it displays in the office! Can get a proper look at home :)

As mentioned before, you should jack up the front, remove the cap and turn lock to lock several times to try and get some air out. I must admit, i have used the Halfords stuff in my old 16v as I was miles from the stealers and it seemed ok. If it's really loud, then your pump may be fubar'd (I went through a couple on my valver) or maybe adjust the belt tightness.
-
They will fit ok, but depending on how low you go you will need your rear arches rolling. You may well need to run a slight stretch on the rears, 205/40/16 would work, 195 for the front IMO.

As per title. Willing to collect if local-ish to the Croydon area or will happily cover postage fees. Fixings would be a big bonus! Cheers, Nick

Refreshing! Makes me sad to see Corrados going for so cheap at the moment... especially after looking at all the money I've spent on mine!
-
Good buy! Was after a short term daily last summer while the Corrado was being fixed up and picked up this: 2000 V40 1.8, 157k, most service history and fresh T&T for £600 Was initially going to keep it for a couple of months but it has been surprisingly good I think I will run it into the ground. Might not be as luxurious as a V70, but makes for a good hack! Nick

Thanks guys... I am always up for a swap for your ones though ;) Cheers! You're right, last thing I want is a trailer queen... don't have the storage space for a start! Chips and dings may be inevitable, but I was hoping the freshness would last a little bit longer :) The orange peel on a couple of parts I mentioned earlier, upon research meant I'd have to do wet sanding which is the last thing I want to attempt myself. Spoke to the sprayer who apologised profusely and booked me in to get it rectified FOC 8)

Thanks for the comments! Lots still left to do... Annoyingly got a fecking stone chip on the bonnet driving home! ffs! Don't know if i can live with it, so might see what the sprayer can do. Will be a never ended battle, but it beats having a bonnet bra

Picked up my car from the bodyshop (upon arrival I was driven to the guys house where it was being safely stored) after getting all the sh*te fixed up. Looks a lot better than it did, the pictures were quick ones I took earlier but will try to get some better ones sorted. The guy flopped a little on a couple of bits where there was a little bit of orange peel. I'm hoping a good detail will sort it out. Looks better than it did anyway! No more sagging bumper and stone chips :norty:

May be interested :)

Welcome to the CF from another Surrey local I was a member of Surrey dubs but never attended any meets. It would be good if there was another one set up though. Whatever happened to No Rice?!
-
The best Manga series of recent times IMO is Full Metal Alchemist:Brotherhood. The DVDs (set of 5) are well worth owning, but there are lots of sites which will stream.
-
Took me long enough to find a set! Always wondered if any CFers had noticed the car where it is parked! If you ever see me outside fiddling around with it, pop in and say hi! Nick
-
Thanks gents for the kind words - will look nicer once the car parking dings, key marks and stone chips are gone though! Looking into what products I can actually use once I get it back. I'm reading that waxes and sealants are a nono, maybe a safe glaze for added shine will suffice for a couple of months :)

Just a quick update to say that the C is going into the body shop tomorrow... Can't wait for it to be done!

Arrived, thanks

I did, but had to cut some of the plastic away to get it to fit
