1. There is a loophole for those with engine conversions struggling with emissions, if your car is aged between 92 and 95 and your car is not listed on the analyser database (as specified on page 9 above) then you get 3.5% rule. But here's the twist, a corrado vr6 or corrado 1.8 will be on the database but a corrado r32 or 1.8t will not! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
2. Do it yourself, full guide on club Gti! Or speak to Andy outhwaite if you REALLY don't want to do it. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
3. I've got a mk5 fuel filter on mine but mine was originally a vr6. The 16v setup has an accumulator, the filter and the fuel pump. Get rid of all that, on mine the blue was return which needs to go in centre of mk5 filter, pickup needs to go in offset pipe then just run supply line to bay. The 16v should have another fuel pump in tank as well but not sure if they are same pressure as vr6, the 16v runs quite a high fuel pressure
4. Lol, was just about to respond... Then I noticed I already have in that other thread
5. I forget his username, think its a turbo'd storm https://plus.google.com/+NickPascoe/posts/MTRQFRMk3NG
6. Someone was making those cup holders to fit in the rear ashtray, they were a good idea. The mk4 golf cup holders take a bit of modification but you keep both the radio and heater controls, just everything moves down a little.
7. Top of dash board if you want to live dangerously or between the legs if you are a crazy dare devil. Seen people install the mk4 golf cup holder or screw a flip out one to side of centre console.
8. Why don't you build one? Find one with a blown engine and save it from the scrapheap? That's what I did. You can make sure it's built to your satisfaction as well!
9. I'd go round all your wiring loom looking for splits or places where wires could be broken. Also worth cleaning up all your earth's, I wouldn't plug another ecu in until your happy it definitely won't happen again!

Cooling fans

Have a search under my previous posts, answered the exact same question a couple of weeks ago with wiring diagram.
11. I think they are obsolete, have asked before but not the answer I wanted, I need some so if you manage to find them being sold post it up!
12. Looks like a 16v, see the upright on the front left (not far left), on a vr6 that is kinked and straight on a non vr6
13. Oosh, that is absolutely beautiful! So very jealous. Would love one, if I ever got rid of the corrado that is what I'd want
14. I think you have to pretension it as well when you put it back on, something I'll need to check when I do mine in the not too distant future. BTW, your username "blackrs2000custom"... MK2 escort? if so, pics please!
15. I'm currently collecting parts for the Teves20 system, got an ecu but finding passat b4 parts is impossible! Want the loom as that is apparently a direct fit and servo
16. I haven't done it, I'm hoping to upgrade it! It's not the greatest system but it's a lot better than a 50p shaped tyre You need to use 2 outputs from master cylinder, t piece off and use 1 side for offside front, other for nearside rear and vice versa.
17. Just an FYI before removing that pesky anti lock braking system, mot laws changed a few years ago meaning if the car originally had an abs system it should be fitted and fully working. Whether you have a dodgy mot man, I don't want to know but that's what I've been told. I've seen it done before, it's not difficult if you can make brake pipes
18. Dim dip, bin it. Stupid thing
19. Ahh awesome, need 2 if you have them?

Bonnet cable

Towards each other... I believe
21. Redborbet aka redredbourbon aka sexybiscuit aka matt was looking at these not long ago but they were massively expensive in comparison with the gains. About £400 if I remember rightly. Seen a few people fit them but usually combined with turbo's and superchargers
22. Bit of a long shot but I'm after the clips that go over the Headlight fastening tabs to secure the Headlight unit in place. If you have a smashed Headlight or just the clips either is good. I know you can use speaker clips but they look a bit naff!
23. I buy all my terminals from here: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=141550095001&alt=web I bought the terminal crimping tool from Amazon I think, it was a jago or something like that. Pretty much exactly the same as this https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00R7BIPXY/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_BKZ1wbN32FBVQ Either buy the pin removal tool (I use a durite multi one) or if you have a spare windscreen Wiper, remove the metal inserts from it and use them.
