I've got a similar kit which I was bought, haven't used it yet but my dad did last week and found that the cast shaping tool bent (the pin in the middle) and was quite difficult to get a perfect shape. Think I might invest in a proper kit when I get round to making new brake lines. As VR6 Andy says, does look like you've got it 1 hole over (labels to the right of the hole)

If you are going to change any I'd go with blue, black is 3rd speed fan and yellow is dash temp so not going to do anything. I'd have a look for general threads about starting problems when warm (obd1 & 2) as I reckon the answer will be the same. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Just in case you needed further reassurance they don't fit on 24v conversions so I can't fit one at all.

Those twisty ones? Go on eBay, any colour and think led as well for probably less than £1. My local parts shop didn't have any of those on but had the bulbs so I just unsoldered old ones out and new ones in Those sort of things they probably buy from eBay and mark them up 1000% anyway Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Such a shame, I haven't been keeping up to date but saw you were having problems. I know you're probably at the end of your tether with it but is it worth parking it up and considering options? Seems the problem is with the vr engine, 4mo's are going for next to nothing these days and you could probably sell all the vr goodies and fit a 4mo engine, strap your charger on and have change left over. As pete says, yes it probably would. I wouldn't worry too much about 1 plug being a little oily, it could be something as small as the HT lead not seated right. Another thing to remember is that with the 6 cylinders, a misfire won't be anywhere near as bad as a 4 cylinder so lumpy can be misfire. Sounds like you've sorted it anyway!

Is that when engine is warm and cold? I'd check spark plugs, ht leads and coilpack first off. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

I had intended to keep quiet so as not to offend but hearing what Wendy has said that does not surprise me 1 bit. In the early days of corrado ownership I met a few CCGB members who were rude and very unwelcoming. I am not, nor will I ever be a CCGB member for that reason. I know a few people, not just myself, that feel the CCGB is a purist group. My car is modified because its my car and I'll do what I want with it and after a few snide comments here and there just puts me off further. I've always felt that the corrado forum and CCGB are 2 completely separate entities, it certainly feels that way, the forum is an extremely friendly place with all the information I need and tonnes of advice at the click of a button. Like I said, I'm not intending to offend anyone just my thoughts. Dwindling numbers will occur as the number of corrado's reduce, its just the way of life sadly

Another chufty not for me but for my sister, she managed to get top 10 people's choice with her merlin purple audi tt soft top on Saturday Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk -

Only 5 more hours at work then its VW festival time! Mates are already pitched up with beers open :( -
I'd agree with Jim, PCV valve plug. Whether or not it does anything personally I prefer things to be right. This looks similar, might just be what your looking for. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-AMP-TYCO-2-Way-Junior-Power-Timer-With-Terminals-Boot-and-Cable-Seals-/140938481506?hash=item20d0968f62:g:Qp8AAOSwWTRWvJkw

Before anyone says it, yes I am a saddo... I bought this a while ago, tried it on and it was too small so went straight back in the bag but as it's printed to order no returns. It's this one and size medium, I'm a bit tall and gangly though Paid too much for it as I'd had a beer and thought it would soo "cool" to have my car on a hoodie, will take £15 and can take to vw festival Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

PM PhilUK as he is on organising team for definitive answers but website says entry is from 8am, not sure about queues at that time but its usually flows quite well into the grounds anyway. Yes get in straight through main entrance (through the archway).

My advice for conversions is if it's 4 pot stay 4 pot, if it's 6 pot stay 6 pot. It's more work and more hassle to put an r32 in a valver as you first need to convert to vr6 (subframe etc). If you don't want it as a project I'd maybe consider an abf, 9a's fetch crazy money these days but 900 is just stupid. I've rebuilt a valver before and it's not a massive job but I'm betting you could pick up a mk3 golf for fairly cheap and either transplant full engine management or just run it off 9a stuff Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

bought tickets last night, chains and tensioners should be arriving today so only need to pull engine out, replace chains and have it back up and running by next friday... easy! *i hope!!!* -
Literally exactly the same, whined for a short time but thats expected when swapping pumps. After I'd driven it once it quietened down Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Well with just over a week to go before festival I've just ordered my chain kit for the R. Engine out this week then! I'll be putting a for sale thread up when I get back but anyone interested in some brock B2's? Can take to festival Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Ahh missed this thread, been running a mk4 pump on mine for a couple of years without a problem. People say pressure is different but I haven't noticed any change Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

They are staggered, et15 and et30. Worked fine on front, rears scrubbed a bit though but expected on vr's. No worries Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
-
Yes, 16x9 all round Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

Dunno about price, they are 16x9 et15 and et30 (had to use 5mm spacers on front to clear caliper). Tyres are pretty low if I remember 215/40. They are herisites old wheels, pics in my members thread Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk

I should really sell them shouldn't I... Brock b2's 16x9 staggered. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
