  4. you can say bye to the drive shafts if the car is that low too.
  5. All Corrados have a cable o2a box
  6. Time to take the boot hatch cover off and try the spoiler manually with the handle. you can turn it by hand, maybe it has a stiff spot somewhere. that could be a cool place to start.
  7. if its mystic then is must be a storm as the mystic was only a storm colour unlike the Classic grean which was on other Corrados But what colour is the Corrado Badge!! as it is possible the VR6 one was niced and replaced, or didn't have the correct one fitted.
  8. here is a link to the Storm Guide http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3126 NOW I THINK your storm has to fall into the Chassis number on this pic. not 100%
  9. Diava was the kit fitted to stoprm and Other Corrados, Aircon was NOT an option on UK models, so the dealers fitted. The Chassie Number is the way to tell. It needs to fall between certain numbers to be a storm. Im sure someone will give you the details, but if you get stuff, give me the chassis number and i'll check it for you against the old EPC
  10. if the outer seal of the screen is loose it means the screen is set to low in the car, it only takes the window to slide down a tiny bit for the screen seal to not sit correctly. In reality the screen is sealed by the glue its held in with. One thing to check is the heater intake. the seal round there is foam and known to break up, wipe the cover off, remove the old seal and using a clear bathroom sealant reseal the cover. use plenty of the stuff and dont press it down to hard. Also clear the dust and leaves from the drain holes use the car vac at the local car wash. while your at it do the one in the other side and the tiny hole inside the petrol flap, just below the cap. Visually check the seal around the boot lid. The lights are sure to be the reason for the wet boot. Unless you have the Corrado badge missing.
  11. if so you would be able to get them from Hella and VW

  13. VW/Hella have never made those lights for the corrado The inpro's and FKs only came out about 2 years ago max.
  14. believe it or not Calibra ones can be made to fit irrc.
  15. Im not 100% sure but i think only the pre face lifted one had the opion of a full size spare, cos the fuel tank on the later ones was huge. Im sure im about to get corrected though
  16. Moved to Members Gallery. love the wide body kit, the front end is a bit much for my personal taste, but looks clean. well done
  17. Early FKs were not emarked and illegal, later one are i believe. but they are basically the same
  18. Car: G60 (late type hangers) Exhaust: Supersprint with Cat Bypass Opinion: Great exhaust note, nice oval tail pipe, middle box however split, but Supersprint replaced it under warrenty. Fit was good once fitted properly, even with the car lowered.
  19. Welcome to the forum. there is years worth of info on here so better start reaserching your plans.
  20. I cant see a halfords staff member knowing a lorry got broke into. surly they would be delivered via a Halfords depo. I'd ask for your money back and go elsewhere. there are always better deals to be had than halfords.
  21. could be the engine is reving a little to low. what speed are you idleing at. have you checked the amp rating of the alternator?
  22. dr_mat, Im with you, just get a friend to take the spare tyre in the "chase car" run minimum amount of fuel, correct tyre pressures and you'll be in with a chance, The Passenger seat is heavy and the rear bench and back rests arnt light either really. they all come out. just be warned that the C might handle a little differently with less weight.
  23. no bump required as you've just put these on the other post
  24. Given the fact its been done on one of them computer programs i'd say its fine, as these things have all the settings in the system. However i cant remember the settings and i've not go the bentley manual CD rom to hand
  25. Jack the car up, take the wheels off and move the brake discs round by hand and see if the disc is catching on one spot as if passed through the pads/caliper. Mine was making a noise when it did this as it wasn't that bad, but i guess you could feel it if it was bad enought. I replaced the discs and pads, problem sorted. im not sure you'd feel it at high speeds though.
