Going back to what you said about wearing excessively, I cannot find a single mm of wear on any of the moving parts of this rack. None of the parts have travel in them at all, they all move with respect to each other at the correct time when asked to. Only thing I can think which would have play in would be rod ends as they obviously have hemispherical movement, although these should only start to move freely when they are wearing outas you mentioned.

Tried to fit the new thermotime switch this afternoon and it sheared in half at a relatively low torque, so the threaded end is stuck in the block too. This car is really starting to p

Looks like they could well come apart if you undo that brass cup on the bottom of the silver shock inner just before the spring platform, but unfortunately my spanners only go up to 36mm and it looks like it might be a 45+mm :(

sweet! I'm guessing the rear 1/4 glass has to be replaced when it comes out, something to do with the bonding? Looks awesome though, is it Moonlight Blue?

Awesome thread! Can I ask how much the paint was and where you had it done? Also, did they take the windscreen and rear 1/4 glass out, looks like they did in one of the prep photos?

Eaton M62 Charger on 16vg60 should i ditch the g?
boost monkey replied to flusted's topic in Engine Bay
From what i've heard, the Eaton cannot compare at all to a stage 4 / ported G-lader. The G is better in making boost and general efficiency. Have a look on the vortex, there's tons of posts on it. -
Thin ice six pot!!! Of course it will make a difference, those who say it won't or doesn't don't have a clue about physics.

cool :D

Good choice, but has the car been corner-weighted and setup by professionals to get the most use out of your suspension?

 mine look excessively rusty but I'll have a look in the morning and let you know

Thanks david, do you know which seals are replaced? As mentioned, I've ordered some but i'm not sure where they go! :? there doesn't seem to be much play in it at all and it definitely wasn't leaking before being removed... the one currently on the corrado has leaked itself dry and taken the pump with it, I fear.

with regards to the chin spoiler, there's a 90mm and a 50mm available, so you can reduce the size of yours if you have a 90mm, or just take the 50mm one off!

11 views and no interest? I'm starting to feel like Channel 5.

I hope so! Now I'll just have to save up and do the rears which will probably be going sideways due to the front's overhaul!

You should be able to find the area under the curve with some simple differentiation equations I'd think.
