Elaborate mate, exactly what makes it so great in your opinion? VR6, :camp: lol Swompy, wanted to VR it but ive properly worked it all out the costs inc brakes etc n im much more better off buyin a VR outright especially when baring in mind my boredom issues when it comes to cars! I mean the plans for mine next would be, VR, repaint, retrim... Id rather just buy a VR lol, soo much cheaper! So yeah goin to sell it for sure this time i think.

I know I can drive for M.O.T but I didn't know I can drive to garage to do some work. Well i mean you are driving to get it sorted for mot right? If anything why dont u book it in at a garage that can do the welding too that way you get to drive there without any probs, thats what i did!

16v banger il give it a go tommorow... Zak, Has... fuels all good, had my new alarm put in today and the fuel pump was priming all good... I can even smell petrol if i pump the gas while trying to turn it over... Worryingly though I can hear a weird squeeking noise as it turns over and im now shatting myself! Could it be a belt? Hi guys, my valver isnt starting unfortunately! I drove home yesterday, parked up and when i tried to start it up again i had nothing! Its turning over but not starting basically. I tried out a spare distributor off a mate so i guess that rules that out.... Any other suggestions gents? Thanks, Abdul

Im sorry but if u drive ur car hard enough on the road to pop a tyre off or something while running stretch u need to lose ur license asap. On a track you'd need to be just a big a cock to run stretch i guess so fair do's if u only run one set of wheels for road and track! BUT i will say my rado handled better with 205/40s on the 17s and a bit raised up compared to now (stretch and decked with 9's)...

I feel ya pain even though mines been a daily for the last year and a half and has done near enough 1k a month in my hands... I still feel like i want to get rid to get a VR even though i could convert this one. Dont know where to put what little funds i have tbh. Sometimes just want to jump into summin newer and go! 195/40 ftw... I corner hard with 215/35s on my 9s and did fine with 195/40s on my 7.5s.

Yup, they should be perfect then, although having said that on my valver my 17x7.5 et 35 lm reps i used to have scrubbed on my rear coilys a little bit so i ran a 5mm spacer. Imo, it would look very purposefull with 10-15mm spacers all round! Due to the VRs widetrack id defo run a spacer on the rear anyway for aesthetics but it may affect your handling a little bit.. maybe 10mm up front and 15mm on the back? Or just go 10 all round lol. Oh the lm's had 205/40s btw, they'd be the comfy choice for you, if u want a slightly more skinnier tyre run a 195/40 but they will stretch a tiny little bit.

with a 195/40 tyre ull be fine... with a 205 u mite scrub. Also depends on ride height!
