i used to be a mobile windscreen fitter and would never have mine changed mobile. :nono: take it to the depot and your more likely to get a decent job done. 3 reasons for this- 1. managers etc will be about so they will take more care with job 2. usually the more experienced guys end up in workshop when they have had enough being mobile 3. mobile fitters will be trying to rush through jobs to get home early, workshop fitters will work slow so they dont get given any more jobs sad but thats how it usually works!

Breaking a car, do you get much for a corrado in parts?
STU175 replied to -Neil-'s topic in General Car Chat
Thats the reason I'd like to do one if it ever came to it.. agreed i broke one for parts i needed to restore mine and its great to have one "to practise on" before you attempt anything on yours LOL -
done all mine today :D while swopping mine over today i noticed that i dont have 2 handles the same :confused4: one has a raised lip around the barrel one doesnt, i take it there early and late changes? only realised when one of the barrels wouldnt fit tryed other handle it did :confused4: early and late barrels are NOT interchangable

if removed correctly you should only need to replace the windscreen trims heated rear rubber should pull off glass before cutting it out rear quarters a bit more tricky to remove the trims are part of the glass and not replaceable
