ah, sorry didnt see the 35, just read '215' and alarm bells rang! I'm pretty sure my AG's were stamped up like your (possible) 8" fronts, different rim but I expect RH's stamps all follow the same pattern.
-
dont want to be the bearer of bad tidings mate but 215's on an 17x8 at the front WILL rub (assuming you have a corrado and not a 318is! ;))

hmm, maybe i wrote it down wrong or could it be the bosch part number?

I'm SO glad I used rubber gloves when I cleaned the interiour of my car after i bought it off you

the MAF i ordered from ebay came today, and the part number on it is '071 906 461' can someone check on ETKA and tell me what cars it fits please? ta muchly!

so chris's 100bhp system could equate to around 200bhp in his car? :? blimey! stanbates, I think so long as you're sensible and your engines in a reasonable state to start with it'll be fine, obviously a 100bhp shot on a dodgy motor isnt going to do it much good, but if you think about it in terms of how much power the charger kits h8rra and kev have just bought add, and the fact that the VR copes very well with the extra 80 or so BHP those kits provide, a standard N/A VR should cope with a 100bhp shot easily. Likewise i'd imagine g60's and valvers would cope just as well.

try and use a fairly long one otherwise you risk fouling the fuel pipes above the tensioner as your winding the bolt in/out

you can get various sizes of injectors to deliver different ammounts of nos and they're usually measured in bhp, so when chris is talking about a 25bhp shot it means exactly that, adding aprox 25bhp to the power.

I'm guessing onion ring... well played henny, stuck to your guns and got the result you rightly deserved!

I was called "a bl**dy boy racer" yesterday in the
chrishill replied to PoorMansPorsche's topic in General Car Chat
i think its just people using the term incorrectly, to me a boy racer is a young lad in ANY car who drives too fast and has little or no road manners, not someone who enjoys cars, owns a 'sporty' model and keeps it well. -
aye, amazing what poor lighting can do to a naturally beautiful face isnt it?

pretty sure the siren should be going as well, I'm almost positive thats how mines set up.

I've got a vague memory of reading something in my head units manual about being able to buy a seperate DAB module, but cant find one on ebay ;) anyone got experiance of them?
-
blimey! s'pose you can use it as an opportunity to felt-line everything in the dash and get rid of any squeaks you might have?

if you make sure you get 205/40/17 tyres you should be fine with 17's at the correct offset. the overall diameter/radius of the wheel and tyre will be almost identical to a 15" wheel with a standard size tyre (55mm sidewall i think?) so it wont effect the speedo. what flavor corrado have you got? i got a 16" in the spare wheel 'hole' in my old valver without any issues, so i'd have thought a 17 would fit too since like i say they should be the same size witht he right profile tyres, but like kev says, i doubt a 17 wouls go in the spacesavers hole on later C's.

i think if you look for 'uprated' dampers/shocks they should be shorter, or at least be able to cope with shorter springs better than the standard shocks can.

i'll translate it into proper english... "I dont think thats a good idea old chum"

outstanding choice sir! BTW - theres one in that kanie west (sp?) video for the song about diamonds, hes driving it about with the doors open then crashes in to a shop... muppet.

thats rover drivers for you, anyone not wearing driving gloves is a boy racer. -
nah chris, one of the things you pointed out to me when i bought the car off you was that the water temp sensor didnt work! I know the dash is wrong, and i'll be changing it, but at the moment the only thing thats 'out' is the revs so IMO its not a big deal. if tarnish isnt a big deal i can leave the blue one alone, but i still think swapping the yellow one over might be a good idea since as i say the water temp guage on the dash has -never- worked so it could be faulty.
