It should have a 1 way valve in it already?

They flick faster as that's a built in system to tell you that a bulb is blown. I have this with my front left indicator, on mine this is down to a bit of a corroded bulb holder. Bit of a wiggle and all is well. The hazards flick at normal speed as a different relay controls them.

Well watching kids TV would be my idea of hell after a sore head! But I don't have kids so that explains that! Mine had been bodged on (like seemingly eveything else on the car!) so it took a bit of work to get in. I wasn't really going to bother fitting this but it was left over after braking my engine donor and I found it in the garage a few months ago and after having a few weeks driving it, having it rattle and the top trim falling off constantly, I had to try something! -

Once the pressure gets to a certain level, the inside centre of the cap will rise and allow excess fluid and or air out through the centre of the cap and up over the top of the bottle threads and into the gully around the top which feeds into the overflow. At least this is how the Mk4 bottle and cap I have works. -

Today's work Yuck! So; And down; Much better! Also de-wipered the rear window whilst I was at it! Followed by a hoover, a tidy up of the garage, digging a flower bed, mowing the lawn, de-weeding the gravel drive, getting rid of a load of scrap and taking the dog for a walk... Mixed in with a pondering about which wheels are next (think I've decided!), suspension, big brakes and air conditioning! One of them days! -
Does that mean that somebody unscrupulous is going to benefit from obsolete tax? :-)

Hi mate, They are et35 and I have zero rubbing but then I'm currently running standard height suspension. I was running some old tired 60mm shocks and springs which was giving me more of a 65/70 drop and the fronts were catching a bit on the liners. The front tyres have more of a stretch to help with clearance. But that kind of drop was always going to cause issues hence I'm back on standard suspension until I decide on that side of things. Zero rubbing on the back. I'm not sure on brembos, I haven't got a clue to be honest but I measured the clearance for somebody else at 50mm. That's quite a chunk but I don't know what is needed. I do know that MicVR runs 304mm AP's on his with these exact wheels. -
The problem you will find is that the manifold flexes under load. Maybe fibreglass wrap would work? I know carbon fibre would but that's not too easy to get hold of!
-
I've got an 11/6 but I'm looking at aircon and maybe a turbo in the future so a bit of forward planning more than anything. No mad rush :-)
-
I'll have a spare set if 11/11 :-)

Shame to see it go, it's one seriously cool car :) I know that doesn't help!

Thanks for the Offer James but the Vega's don't really float my boat. But I guess that is what makes us all human. -
Good luck to him... He'll need it!

I agree fully Sean, I couldn't care less that BBS made them, I loved the look and the exclusivity of them! Shame they don't come in 16x7.5 fitment! Don't worry my next choices are still pretty tasteful! -

They're a bit heavy James, Not the main reason but it's a factor in my decision. I have 2 main options on the go at the moment but I will decide which way I wish to go in the not too distant future. I bought the CH's knowing full well that when I did get eventually get to drive on them and I didn't like them, that I could sell them back on for more or less what I paid for them and continue with my life safe in the knowledge that I never lost a lot of money. -

I've bitten the bullet and put the wheels up for sale. Let's see what happens :) Shameless plug! -
BBS CH 006 17x8.5J Alloys and Tyres For Sale: 5x100 ET35 8.5J My set of BBS CH's. I have been umming and ahhing for a few weeks as to whether or not I put these up for sale, but I have decided to follow a different look with my car and unfortunately, these wheels have to go. They have 205/40/17 AutoGrip tyres on the front with approx 4/5mm left and the rears are 225/35/17 Falkens with a little bit more life in them than the fronts. I bought them from Bill (BillCor) last summer when my car was still a project and were only fitted recently once I had the car back on the road. I have only done a total of 350 miles or so with them so the wheels are still in the same condition as when Bill sold them to me. The only thing I did was apply a few layers of of RimWax to help keep them looking good! Those sharp eyed amongst you will realise that the photos of the wheels are the same ones that Bill Posted when I bought them from him, but seeing as the mileage I have done is so low that the wheels are in the same state as what I bought them! I'm in no huge rush to sell these so no crazy offers please! I am located in Central Lincolnshire LN4 and I am reluctant to post them, but I can post at buyers cost. Collection is definitely preferred.
