Bump! I'm not around this weekend though!

Very cool laser-etched car blueprints

750 quid for 10 in a group buy style! -
You might be worth sending matt at United Motorsport an email with your problems, he is very good at dealing with these ecu's. Not the most chatty of blokes but very good! Who did your ecu work before?
-
They look ace but most drivers won't really notice the difference between 288s and 312s unless they are on a track. They are bigger for heavier cars and heat dissipation. Not saying they are a waste, just saying don't expect them to be noticeably more effective then 288s. I put them on my last Corrado purely for aesthetics!

Very good price :-)

You just can't reason with people when it comes to money I guess. -
I've used Halfords a few times and have always been very happy! So long as you don't ask the spotty Saturday kid!
-
I'm normally quite cheeky with their website. I get the part number I need from heritage and then email vw classic for a price and save the markup! Got to love the EU for no tax duties from Germany!
-
That is a link to the back of the fuse box?
-
Maybe, but if he's has agreed to sell them at that price...
-
I agree, I've got some stuff in the classifieds and I've had plenty of pms over it wasting my time. I quite clearly say where it is and all people do is ask me where in the country I am! Only 1 person has had the decency to keep his questions in the thread!
-
How do you reset the geometry with these? Most garages set the tracking up based on the rears being square?
-
Real bargain!
-
There's a huge thread on it in the suppliers section ;-)
-
That is a bargain! I sold my last set in a lot more scruffy condition for a little over £200! They did go with worn discs though but discs are about £80 a pair.
-
Ok mate. It's been available for 6 months but it's only now that it's getting in the way!
-
That's OK. I'm busy this weekend really and it's going to be a long week next week!
-
The centre part should be lower and not higher than the side parts if that makes sense? If it is higher, then you risk it rubbing on the exhaust. I wanted to powder coat mine but I was concerned that the twisting motion of the bar would just trash the fairly delicate powder coating. I thought about plastic dipping mine or even just hammerite instead?

I've never had an issue with the Pro Version. Best money I ever spent on an App.
-
I'm in the Village of Coningsby, About 15 mins from Sleaford and 40 from Lincoln.
-
Nope, Just unbolt it and bolt it back up when you're done! Only setup is when you re-connect the linkages.
-
Bump, somebody give me some space back!
-
Yeah, get it washed! Just be careful of the seals for the driveshaft cups and the VSS pickup.

An update to this thread. I ended up going with Greenlight in the end, 30 years old,7 years NCB, all mods, 5k, wife on policy, decent postcode and living on my driveway and I got it for £329. Next best was HIC at £399 going up to Adrian flux at £475. Very happy with my afternoon of phoning about!
