tape the car up on the way to shows if you have amazing paint, i used one once on the way to vw festival and it made a right mess of my bonnet, scuffs all the way across it and i had followed the fitting instructions to the letter, i would say save the money then in the future get the stone chips sorted (if you have any)

Wheels make the car look hideously dayed in my humble opinion, don't suit the corrado at all...... Got me thinking however about a set of cams for my car to try push that little bit of extra power out of it.......

i use denso on the lower threads of my coilovers and thick spray grease on the top threads buy my car is fairly high so not much exposed thread up top

Lenso are not splits so in simple no they don't come apart thus being a fraction of the cost, providing the thread type is the same then you could change the bolts in order to customize so its a yes on that. So long as you are happy with the dish size then you have no reason to go splits other than the pimp factor however the idea of splits works perfectly if your looking for perfect stance.

I'm Newcastle too....well blyth to be exact, anyone know who has the red VR6 knocking around the area with transporter vents, spotted it the other day..... Afraid I won't be able to do much this side of Christmas as the car is off the road for a bit as its leaking (footwell is like a small pond) so taking the opportunity to do the intake mani etc. I had wondered who had bought mooks rado, I would be well game for a meet once the car is back on the road and the red VR is up to standard.

The 3 pieces dude, mine is broken on all three sections so want a nice one for the summer lol What sort of condition is the corrado script in mate?

OK im starting the corrado project now that winter is here so i need to start sourcing bits, the only issue being is that im on a tight budget however i will consider all parts, please take a look at the list below and let me know if you have anything. Both front headlights, must have tabs etc and be in good condition. Front fogs and indicators, will swap my crystal ones or PX if wanted. Grill, must have all tabs etc intact. Rear Corrado badge. VR6 Grill badge. Front Splitter (damaged or undamaged but want 90mm) Undamaged front screen scuttle. OEM headunit. Drivers side mirror glass. Thanks for the advice guys, Off to the dealer tomorrow to place what i imagine to be a fairly expensive order as usual.... Well i have some rather nice tools for accessing hard to get to bolts as when i was made redundant my place of work shut down and i was allowed to keep all of my tools thus i have about 3 full sets :-)

Going to take the intake mani off the corrado (1993 2.9 VR6) this week in order to change the rocker cover gasket so whilst its off im going to paint/get powder coated the upper and lower intake manifolds therefore im going to need new gaskets and since the paint is getting done new bolts to keep things looking good. I have gone through the VAGCAT parts catalog and come up with a list of parts and numbers but someone said a while ago that the rocker gasket around this year changed so i was wondering if anyone could shed any light on this and also anything i have forgotten about i.e. do intake mani gaskets need gasket sealer on them. So the list is as follows; Rocker cover gasket; 021103483B or 021103483D Throttle to Upper intake mani gasket; 021133072C Upper to lower intake mani gasket; 021133227J Lower main to cylinder head gasket; 021133227H Throttle to upper intake mani bolts x 4; N 0903151 (hex head) M8x25 Upper manifold to lower bolts x 10; N 0147263 9 (allen head) M8x30 Lower manifold to cylinder head bolt x 10; N 0147263 9 (allen head) M8x30 Washers x 20; N 01155811 8.4x15x1.6 If anything can advise on which rocker cover gasket and also anything i have overlooked i would be very grateful.
