Spotted. Heading east on the M62 around 2 this afternoon, a multicoloured corrado, with red doors, white wings but I think the car was blue... Jay

Best thing is when it's dark get a plant water sprayer (water mist) and spray a mist of water over the engine bay in pitch darkness. If there are any breakdowns in insulation resistance you will soon see them clear as day. If you are just getting them it spots on the coilpack, then as suggested, re-coat the top area in epoxy resin and it should do the trick. I did one once and it's still fine 7 years later. Jay

LOL no it wasn't that one! It's a very straight clean one. I will know soon enough if it fits OK. Jay

To be honest I think exhausts are more about the thought and time spent fitting them than anything else, but I will have to wait and see. Plus at £100 it's worth a punt :)

I take it your not a fan Kev?

Got myself a Miltek. Thanks all :)

John did you get my text mate? Jay

Exactly. Just pull the side strips off running a credit card or similar behind them to help, then wash down the tape/glue left behind with soapy water to remove any grit etc.. then caramel wheel the tape/glue off in a about 10 mins. Jay

Two words. Caramel Wheel. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Glue-Stripe-Removal-Toffee-Caramel-Wheel-Drill-Bit-/220785335109 Forget any cleaning products, heat etc..etc.. this is what you need to remove glue from bodywork without any damage or hassle. Jay

Well the MK4 has been sold, so I have a few pennies to spend on getting the body sorted. Sills are going to get freshened up and fingers crossed a couple of other bits. Got a nasty stone chip in the screen on the way home from work yesterday, so I am going to get the areas around the screen cleaned up and painted when it gets taken out. Jay -
Rear number plate plinth still available?

Not a fan of long life I am afraid. Am seriously tempted by the bonnet as its in the right colour, but I don't "need" one and it's a long way to come...
-
There are ways round that though :). You can get Bradley's to colour match.
-
Wish I knew what 2012 will hold for the rado. I do know it will be driven to work everyday and it will be gradually sorted, but to what extent..... Who knows. :)
-
Strange way to advertise it, but Corrados are definitely a love hate thing. :)

LOL very good! To keep things on topic, you will also find a lot of factory interior plastics are painted too. When you look at the back they are black and not the colour you see... Jay
