  1. Stick me down for a run Jim. (I am assuming its Sunday the 27th). Will give me a good reason to get the car on the road and give me a power benchmark :) Jay
  2. The Corrado specific Autojumble sounds like a great idea. We could probably build a car with all the bits people have kicking about at home! Jay
  3. Last weekend of Novemeber looks good for me. Might even have the car mobile by then...... Jay
  4. They look miles better already mate... Nice work Jay
  5. Blue K plate VR driving down altringham road in Wilmslow at 5:45 this evening. Smartly dressed chap driving it.. Jay
  6. Disconnect battery. Turn on ignition. Reconnect battery. Turn ignition off. Press and hold remote button for 10 seconds. Fone
  7. Bought my C last week with a non-working original Scorpion alarm/central locking. Was expecting a load of hassle with wiring, but £2 for a new keyfob battery from Maplin on the way home tonight and I got it all working perfectly by reprogramming the keyfob to the alarm. A good evenings work :) Jay
  8. I was tempted by Tims one but I want one I can just bolt straight on really, mine has a dent in the top which I am not happy with so would like a straighter one. 16v one is no good I'm afraid has to be a VR6 one. Jay
  9. It's not a metal roof, but that paint sounds ideal. What is it's tradename? On topic I bought a new battery for the original scorpion alarm today and reprogrammed the keyfob in accordance with the factory instructions and everything works perfectly, total closure included which is a bonus :)
  10. LOL. Yeah, well I guess I don't see it as a big job any more really. Contemplating installing the initial parts of the climate control system while its all out aswell, just so I have the hard bits done before its mobile. Jay ---------- Post added at 12:45 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:44 PM ---------- I have done similar by sealing and painting the floor and also lined all the walls, but its the roof where it condensates a bit when I get a warm/cold cycling with the heater on in there in the winter. Think the de-humidifier will sort that out. Jay
  11. Anyone got a clean and tidy LC3U Dark Burgundy Pearl Slam panel they can sell me.... Cheers Jay
  12. So I have started to strip her down and was pleased to find the battery tray was solid and only needs some minor treatment. I am thinking now that while the car is not my daily and I have the chance I am going to whip the engine out and clean and tidy the whole bay. Then when it's back in and the car is a daily driver I can just slowly refurb and replace all the easy to access parts. Battery tray.... Jay
  13. I am after both front indicator lenses. Need to be clean and crack free.. What you got? Jay
  14. Lovely!! Any idea what the steering wheel is other than MOMO, I need something in keeping with the car but I can't bare the standard wheel.
  15. If my Rado is mobile by then I would be up for it, but I have a feeling I will still be working on it then. December maybe ;)
  16. Baby wipes are a detailers favourite, perfect for doing leather.... Jay
  17. Nice details for anyone planning on the conversion.
  18. Nice to see what DBP looks like polished up :) You will love the 24v. The driving is so much more relaxed than in a 12V VR, although it doesn't do the lovely shove and howl at 3500. Jay
  19. Anyone recieved and fitted one of the 70mm spoilers yet? Jay
  20. Always go for the cheapest option first, try a new sender and see how it goes. Jay
  21. Got mine yesterday. Top man for organising this and putting all the effort in going to the post office all the time! Cheers Jay
  22. I am after some direct comparison pictures between a G60 type and a VR6 type lower ball joint. Inparticular any castor angle that they have. If anyone one has both handy and could take some pics I will owe you a beer :) Cheers Jay
  23. Cheers Matt. Portent, One of the main reasons I wanted to get back into a Rado was the people and posts like yours on a build thread are proof of why. Intelligent and thought out comment, rather than just stupid posts. Cheers Jay
