Actually I think the pink one is an Astra MK2 Jay
-
After removing his rubber Kev pushed the Fag out the window. :) Jay
-
The pink one is not a Corrado, its just got the Corrado Reiger front bumper grafted onto a 306 I think. Jay
-
Not the clearest shot, but you can see the red glow. It actually covers the footwells very subtley, but you can't see that on this image. Still this is what it looks like inside a Corrado/MK4/TT at night :)
-
Very clean mate. Looks well cared for. Apart from the manky indicator :) Jay
-
The TT downlighting is very nice. Really subtle, but enough to make a difference. Its focused slightly more on the passenger side footwell than the drivers side, which makes sense. If I get chance I will take a couple of night time piccies tonight of the whole TT dash in a rado. :) Jay

Nice work mate. 8) The reason the light doesn't stay on is that the later VW's have a Central convienence module (under the dash) which controls all the interior lighting, windows etc.. If you look on the back of a Rado interior light you will see a load of circuitry which is the timer circuit. The Passat one is just a straight power feed. I have done the complete opposite to you and wired the Corrado interior light panel into the MK4 loom. I had to remove all the components on the back of the light and add a couple of wires, so that it has all the functionality of the MK4 light, the delay and the slow fade :) One thing I can't help but notice is that it looks like it actually overhangs where the corners of the panel are. Does it? Or am I seeing things. Luckily for me the red down lighters come as standard in the TT dash on the underside of the ashtray, which I finnally got round to wiring up at the weekend. So I now have the nice red floor glow too :) Jay

I think I know what causes the corrado Dead pedal feel.

Come on Ben you know once you get it to Jabba next week and its all done you will be happy again. With you all the way Coxy. VW/Bosch spend millions on developing a management system then everyone takes it out as they think something designed by a guy in a shed in Sussex can do better....... erm HELLO!!!! Bosch ME7 is a massively capable system and I would never go with anything other than OEM. Jay -

OH MY GOD!!!! That is proper hotrod style work. As I said before, this will be purely and simply the best dub in the world. Period. Jay -

Welcome to the forum. Sweet MK2 mate. What have you got planned for the Rado? Jay -
Could be the cat heat shield. Also check all the bolts on the engine, when I had a G60 the alternator bolt came loose once and sounded like that. Jay
-
Come on guys help my mate out. I am too far away (Manchester), someone must be local with VAGCOM to lend a hand. We need this car working as its one of the three going to Worthersee and I don't want to be 4 up :) Jay
-
Same as Adrian Flux. Cost me £50 to cancel it! Jay
-
Having been with both I am now back with Brentacre again. The only thing I would say for Brentacre is their modified cover is genuine, in that they won't just insure your car for whatever you say its worth, but will actually agree a price and honour it. Flux will pretty much agree whatever you tell them. Have had no problems with either, but Brentacre actually came out cheaper this year £630 fully comp all mods declared (of which there are a few) and a decent insured value. Jay
-
Andy if you got some early type V6 MK4 clocks I can get them in and working for you. As for cost......not sure.
-
I will do it for £1200 if you supply the parts. :) Jay
-
What exactly are you doing andy? Jay

I truely believe you are building what will be the worlds best show car. The cool thing is its not another golf, but something a bit different. I will have to make a trip to the US at some point, just to see this car in the flesh! 8) Awesome awesome work. Jay -
http://www.wheelrefurbishing.co.uk/cars.htm See. :) My wheels are actually there as we speak, getting a refurb ready for Worthersee. Jay
-
Yep use them all the time. Have done for the last 12 years. Tell them Jay with the Corrado sent you. My car is actually on their website under customers cars :) Jay
-
Could anyone find out the VW part numbers for the shims for me? Cheers Jay
