Rado as a Submarine......No Good :( Be careful guys!!!
CazzaVR replied to rado-steve's topic in General Car Chat
Phew! :D -
Pretty sure they were an option on the VR6. Usually fetch £100-250 depending on condition, tyres etc :)
-
Sounds like it's the manifold. Don't throw water on it! Check above and below for exhaust gases escaping. Do this in the dark with a light shining in the bay.

Me too! Shame I couldn't make it :( Would be hoping for similar figures to yours... Shut it, Christine! I'll be along to the next one- no more weddings lined up. For the moment... -
Good numbers there, Laura. Looks like it's running really well now :)

15" G60 BBS 15" Speedlines (2 sets) 15" BBS Solitudes 16" BBS RX2 17" Oz Polaris 16" Team Dynamics Mirage Think that's it. Not too bad considering the amount of Corrados I've owned!

That's good figures, Jake 8) -
Wow! Looks superb- what a transformation... way overdue though  Sounds like you've got the trackday bug after Combe 8)

Was a few cars behind a dark coloured C yesterday morning at around 8am just coming out of Charfield, South Glos.
-
Blackberry is prob my fav Rado colour, although Khaki is a bit special. Love Honda 'Pirates' Black' - looks totally black until the sun comes out and shows the purple pearl.
-
As above /\ I usually use hairdryer- dental floss- WD40 (removes the residue really well ;) )
-
I've got a rotary- am a bit of a noob, but have started to get the hang of it (got rid of some swirls/holograms on the centre of my bonnet the other day). You're welcome to pop down and we could try correcting a small section and see how it goes. I'm just down the road in Wotton-under-Edge. Defo worth a try before shelling out all that dosh on a re-laquer! If we don't get anywhere, it's worth giving Drew (see above ;) ) a shout, as he is the detailing god! 8)

Yup, remove the lower half of the airbox.

Very nice! Really like nicely modded MK3s 8) -
TBH, I reckon it would look terrible. It's just too modern to suit the Corrado :gag:
-
Michael, make your mind up! You're worse than me  Get some pics up 8) Sounds really nice.

Good work, Jake! Never had a go at the rears myself... the vRS will need doing in the next couple of months- maybe I'll have a go :) -
Know the name- is he French? I'm sure I've got a couple of old tracks somewhere...
-
Some WD40 is very handy when putting them back in!
-
Sounds great, Warwick! 8) I changed all the seats for black ones and the rear door cards (with help from _Andy_ and his Dad :) ). Just need to change the front cards now...
-
Big thanks to _Andy_ (and your old man!) for the seats. Even helped me put them into my car, gaave me a cuppa and chucked in a couple of extras 8) . A pleasure to deal with you, mate :salute:

Sure you're using the correct bulb? They need to have a dual element.
