  8. Afternoon all I thought i would let you know that with the help of Anna at Heritage i have been able to order an o/s sill repair section delivered to my door for just shy of £50 Heritage have been able to remove the extortionate shipping costs from classic parts by sourcing the part for me fingers crossed it will be long enough to sort the small issues on both sides :D well done Anna!! Oh & thanks also to maff & gti_jamo - appreciate the advice chaps
  9. Hello Zak Its been while since ive seen you on here - hows tricks? hope your well. I have 2 of your looms m8, both the 3 relay versions, & one of the relays popped on mine a few weeks ago. I replaced all 3 as i didnt have time to figure which was dipped/sidelights/main beam etc are you able to tell me which one is which so i can make a note of it pls? Thanks muchly
  10. i think it is the PCV valve breather return hose, or something like that, as the 90 degree elbow just up from your finger is said PCV valve IIRC VW charge a fortune for a whole section with the PCV valve but you can get the individual bits from ford as a galaxy V6 has the very same PCV valve hope that helps Oh & from experience when replacing it you need the same type of clip that currently holds it on as a jubilee will not hold it - as i found when stealth fitted my roose motorsport hoses
  11. indeed Jim! i cant stop laughing at the final paragraph of the valver 'WE ARE CONFIDENT THAT THIS IS THE BEST EXAMPLE OF THIS ICONIC VW COUPE CURRENTLY AVAILABLE ON THE OPEN MARKET. VIEWING ESSENTIAL. PROFESSIONAL DESCRIPTIONS A PLEASURE FOR ANY LONG DISTANCE BUYERS, PLEASE ASK FOR ANTHONY' really!!! the BEST currently available....hmmmm pull the other 1 m8
  12. very true Mic it is impossible to get your knee down in a C lol i must say it is great though when the bikers are stood on the bridge watching their m8s & then i see them all whip their heads round to look at WTF is making all that noise coming round the bend, BMC at full chat & bridgestones doing their best not to loose traction all within the 70mph speed limit on the slip roads though ;) Ha ha you took the thought out of my mind about the VRT's m8 but i want your brakes 1st!!!
  13. Mmmm yummy brembo's! brake upgrade is on my list for the VR but i will need new wheels also to do so ha ha thats the result of a drive in a VRT i would hope for ;)
  14. ha ha that last bit nearly made me spit my tea out lol definitely the rozzer experience you had m8 - i know how sneaky they can be trying to make you boot it if they think your fast. glad to hear no more incidents though, hope it stays that way thats some power to spin up all gears....... ****dreams - one day maybe lol**** you would love the clover leaf section we have near where i live m8 - a lovely little playground of 2 dual carriageways crossover giving 4 270 degree slip roads (2 downhill & 2 uphill) & 4 S bend slip roads (again 2 up & 2 down) bikers come from miles around to get their knee down round them but i love showing them how to really take a bend quick ;) lol
  15. cool & the gang thanks muchly! that would be mint :D how you finding it in the damp conditions? & no more goading received by local blue flashers i hope!!??
  16. on the weekend i fixed the bonnet catch on the valver so as it now stay shut gave it its first wash since i brought it back as few months ago & the black centre'd BBS splits look lovely against the alpine white paint :) just waiting for it to be MOT time & looking forward to driving it again

  18. Mmmm very nice m8. Are you having an LSD of some form fitted too? Edit - oh & hows your brake setup? ;) lol I saw lots of n3p's install as it happened due to my VR having its head rebuild at the same time. It was very neat & we all know how the results turned out. I just wish id been there when he picked it up so i could have a passenger ride lol
  19. Oooo you lucky boy!! Whats on the menu VAG-hag?
  20. Thanks Anna I think it would most likely depend on what the expected cost would be - do you have any indication at this time?
