well would you believe it! drivers window worked today ??? lol think i will be checking this advice from vw rule - It might also be a good idea to check that all the wires are in correctly in the electric window control unit connector plug, what I mean is make sure the wires are in nice and tight i.e (held in place with in these connecting blacks by two raised spike arms, which are on each side of each female spade wire, a bit like a arrow head) which was from http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=79400 in case that helps

my apologies if im wrong but google search on that part number brings up 'central locking control module' reason i ask is due to my drivers window not working - all i get is a click sound from behind the rear drivers side passenger trim & im not sure what i need to do to fix it

IIRC it is just the window switches that are in a different place. Im pretty sure my early valver has the inner door handle & grab handle in the same place & would think as such they bolt up the same as late door cards I can check my valver & confirm when i get home if you like?
