  1. ha ha ha brilliant Nick!!! lol
  2. thanks for the update Em & well done. wow i wasnt expecting them to be £50 though!!!!
  3. Kev - thank you!! Once again you surmise in you own wonderful style & bring smiles & laughter to my day lol
  4. Ha ha i was resisting but what an awful listing!! Barely any info, no pictures, top end price for an absolutely mint VR & more than likely a pig of an engine cause it has never been used properly in all its life......nevermind the 'confidence inspiring' company website with nothing but a logo lol joker!!
  5. Looking good. ive always liked them in silver. Oh & you will find most of us are an active & helpful bunch on here :D
  6. Welcome! we like pics here even if they are filthy ;) lol
  7. Hi Kev Im not sure on the GSF ones but i thought the valeo ones were the manf to go for - hopefully someone will confirm
  8. thats a good price for V3's - in hindsight i wish i had took the hit for the extra expense & got the V3's rather than V1's The V1's are superb, in my opinion, but it would be nice to be able to make them a little more forgiving to our crap pot hole filled roads
  9. Hello there. Always nice to see new members & their motors Your english is better than some of the natives on here ;) lol you have some great rado photos on your instagram :D
  10. WOW so many great pics!!! Superb scenery & i bet the VR sounds amazing through the tunnels :D
  11. very gentlemanly of you sam :)
  12. available direct from speedline http://www.speedlinecorse.co.uk/aftermarket/after2110.htm
  13. ha ha & pic 14 - obligatory cheesy grin owner photo lol
  14. great minds eh ;) lol i have found a range of sizes of BBS centre caps here http://www.performancealloys.com/bbs-centre-caps.aspx but they only list BBS or OZ flavours :(
  15. Oddly, when searching for speedline centre caps i came across this link from last year http://www.hemmings.com/hsx/stories/2013/09/01/hmn_buyers_guide1.html A very nice article considering the site says they are 'World’s Largest Collector Car Marketplace'
  16. do you need the full handle or is it the striker which is broken? if the latter daves16v does a repair kit in supplier section for both sides & this enables you to keep your current key ;) my drivers handle now feels great & ive the passenger kit ready for when that goes too lol
  17. cool. good luck & let us know how you get on :) Ive checked on the speedline corse site but cant find any centre caps listed. I also checked the german classic parts site & cant find any on there either
  18. Tidy! I will have a look out but please do give us a synopsis once you have read it Jim :)
  19. IIRC i think ive heard they are still available from the stealers, though ive never rang to check
  20. my apologies sam i saw the thread but didnt read your original post
  21. Hi m8 & welcome. Im not in your area but there are lots of helpful bods on here :) If you havent read the buying guide on here its worth a look & other than that id say hold out until you find the right one for you. Big & costly jobs on the VR are the obvious chains/tensioners but also check the running gear (front wishbone bushes, track rod ends & bushes, rear beam bushes & CV boots & steering rack gaitors etc) ;)
  22. if southie is not responding & cant be contacted then someone could try contacting the supplier themselves & see if they can run the group buy southie did put the supplier link in the 1st post, http://www.classic9leathershop.com/bonnet-liners-for-volkswagen/ & they still have the liners advertised i would imagine the company may be happy to let a new person run a group buy as the probably want to sell more liners & it would be easy to make a list for a 2nd run you may have an issue with companies posting the 3M spray adhesive though as i know they they dont like posting such items any longer good luck all
