probably not related to your issue but did you also torque your wheel bolts up properly? 110nm I believe

can of worms here Pete the adjusters are notoriously brittle & from what I have read can be a real pain to remove & refit I have a pair of early headlights from which I need to make a working set with the ones currently in the valver - for the same reason of broken adjusters I thought I would try the donor light route first but am also aware that you can buy a metal adjuster from here, but they are expensive, http://www.tdnparts.com/corrado-euro-light-adjuster-kit/

BREMBO retrofit on the Corrado, anyone done this? What ones fit?
g0ldf1ng3r replied to EJ Taylor's topic in Drivetrain
that is what I thought a quick google though & lots of post about poor customer service for after care - however, most of those were over 10 year old threads I know they are ultra expensive but AP racing have always been a desire for myself -

I was going to suggest the same the disc's they supply have to be bolted onto separate rotors. if K sport cant supply a 5*100 rotor could you not just use one from someone else which is designed to fit the same size disc as K sport supply -

lol sexual brakes! n3p had some very nice Tar-Ox ones on his old VRT I seem to recall HiSpec will also custom fabricate a set if required so as to get big brakes under smaller specific wheels -

I know they are not Brembo but have you looked at these EJ http://www.hispecmotorsport.co.uk/vw.html ? they are manufactured to fit and offer 4 pot or 6 pot I know wheeler dealers have used them on a sports car previously but cant recall what it was -
from the experience of the gf selling her storm last year - you haven't a chance at that price with those faults I am afraid restore now or store away if you want a good price, else I would expect a big drop from your figure

nice! those brakes peeking out catch the eye I bet ;) lol

Heavy rainfall: soaking wet rear passenger footwell.

couple of places & potentials most likely is the foliage filter housing & the plastic cover which goes over the top of it I had a badly fitted plastic cover on my VR such that one corner was tucked under itself & was letting water go straight into the top of the foliage filter if the plastic cover is ok it could be the seal on the base of the foliage filter, they are known to perish & then leak if neither of those then check the sunroof drain holes - open sunroof onto full slide & there is a drain hole channel in each corner. pour a little water down each & check it comes out under each respective wing -
I recently purchased some blue magnecor HT leads for my VR from http://www.dcperformance.co.uk £112 delivered & was the cheapest I could find them

nice jim - I didn't know you did any publishing/design :) -
it doesn't half Ian - $92 discount - odd those are the people that make the metal headlight adjusters, I would be keen to hear feedback if someone orders from them

Missing images from members gallery?
g0ldf1ng3r replied to joebloggsVR69's topic in Site Comments and Questions
I noticed similar with my build thread today Jim, with the pictures on the 1st page however I am sure they were there only a few weeks ago, most odd -
indeed rob that is one reason I made an easy access for 'manual' operation - IE cut a hole in the motor/light cover & keep an allen key on a driver in the side pocket lol
-
oh ok - I thought the opposite as I often see threads where the imagebucket, for example, photo links no longer work
