HELP! high beams stuck on while engine and light switch off
floppyman replied to JumboJimboG60's topic in Engine Bay
Im not shure but isnt there a relay for high beam? If so it might have gone... Try taking the relays out one by one. -
A good polish and that red will look great
-
Bump for any one interested?

Why you want to buy a corrado to sell it in one year time??? I think this is not the right car to just use it for one year.... It will need repairs and not cheap.
-
I think you just need to take the clocks out and the bulbs can be changed from the back
-
Look trough the back quarter window? Wow... I just have to bent myself a bit foward and can see properly... been to portugal and back every year for about six years and never had any problem.
-
Wow thats nice price... Mine workes fine but it does a very high pitch noise... Maybe the new inproved one will be better... Please do let us know how the new one performes.
-
It does sound to be tappets... But vr6 are prone to do piston noise due to the cylinder bore (especially number 1 cyl) mine does it when cold but does it no matter engine speed. Its 180,000 miles but ive replaced pistons on 140,000... Stupidly I never done a rebore.

One possiton is locked, other is to work with central locking, and the last is to open with key (turn and press in)
-
That does affect. Mix that with lights, wipers, air blower. Although cold air helps on good combustion

I tried my best yesterday.... 32mpg in 7 miles in a roads at night.

[Forza 4] Top Gear Corrado Challenge (Pg 8)
floppyman replied to Yandards's topic in General Car Chat
What adaptor? I need one :) where and how much? Was thinking about it today... Was playing forza and looking at the g25 -
31mpg average for two years? Wow... Thats very good. I hope you still put your foot down once in a while... Vr6 dont like to be driven slow for a big amount of time. (thats what I tell my girlfriend everytime I fill up the tank) she still doesnt understant it.

Is it the rear electric spoiler switch?

If youre shure you changed the right wheel sensor then start by checking the wiring from the sensor plug to the abs pump ecu. If wiring is ok then you will have to check the rotor in the wheel bearing housing. Maybe is bent. If all this comes out ok the its a faulty sensor or abs ecu. If you want to give me your car details I can look what wires to check
-
The sensor you were saying is the knock sensor.... If youre replacing that one, dont forget to buy 2... Theres another one on the back of the block... I might be rong but these never go rong?
-
It does look good.... But that stiching....
-
Best you can do first is plug it in to vcds (vagcom). If youre anywhere near heathrow I can do it
-
Sorry 4eyes2wheels.... I might be rong. Went out to check mine it is 4bar. Checked eurocarparts and for the golf is 4 bar aswell. And... 80 pounds bosch part... And you can get 20% off online
-
Yes they are different... Corrado has more fuel rail pressure... Cant remember now but I think corrado has 5bar fps and the golf is 4bar... They fit... But you will notice poor performance

Can I have the rocker cover gasket and the top radiator cover? Thanks
