Theres a few on ebay... Theres a new one aswell, not original but worth a try
-
Just get a new assembly. Pretty shure you cant get the cable
-
Start by checking voltage at the glass. Theres two connectors. Maybe fuse blown
-
Welcome... That sounds a very good deal.
-
If youre getting 12volts and have good ground at the window motor then it can only be the motor or the mechanism is stuck. Have you tried feeding the motor with 12volts straight from the battery? Sounds like the window regulator is gone... Winter is comming its common
-
Isnt all corrados like that? You can only operate one window at the same time? Im shure all my 3 rados do that

Dont forget to let us know how it turns out

Then the ignition is not ok. With piston one at tdc the distributor has to be sparking for cylinder one... Its getting a bit confusing with you saying its pointig at number 4... The distributor housing doesnt matter where its pointing at... What does matter is the rotor arm is pointing to the right plug on the cover. If you look inside the distributor cover you will see 5 small studs. One in the middle and 4 around. The rotor arm has to be pointing right in the middle of the stud that goes to number one cylinder. Hope that helps, if your getting spark, fuel and air thats all you need to start... If it doesnt start it has to be timming... Crank, camshaft and ignition have to be in the correct timming....

It doest start? Have opened the throttle while cranking?
-
There are many many things that would make it not start.. Start with the simple stuff... With engine at tdc is the distributor rotor arm pointing to cylinder number one lead (on the cap). While cranking the engine do you have spark? Fuel?

Check the alternator brushes... On the back of the alternator theres two philips screws. Remove them and remove the brushes. Check the length of the brushes. And check voltage at battery while holding the revs at 2000rpm. Tell us the out come of that
-
You better read that manual properly.... You going to end messing that new engine. Timming belts are not to be played with

When piston one (poly side) is at top dead center, dizy rotor should point at the first cilynder not number 4

Yes the error code you getting now is normal due to being unplugged. 680rpm idle thats normal. But the adapted values are a bit high... Some one correct me but I think its running lean. Check for any broken pipe... There must be a air leak somewhere
-
Yes you do have to do the vag com bit... I would say more important the the battery reset it self. Shareware version of vagcom doesnt let you do basic settings
-
Go into messurement block 5 or 6 cant remember. First block is actual lambda values ,after is adaptation in idle and so on. Tell us what values are there
-
Noooo.... Rad weld... 2 weeks? You shouldnt leave it in there for so long... It did its job a sealing the leak, but it can seal other things aswell :(
-
The ecu does have a isv adaptation... If the old one was no good and now you put a new one in, the ecu will still use the same adaptation values on the new one. +1 for a ecu reset

Yes thats the switch I was saying... Maybe best if you could get a picture of the mistery switch
