I too have fallen out of love with the corrado again!! After 11 years of ownership and going just about as far as i can with it other than a full respray which it doesnt really need! I dont have much time these days to drive it and its in bits again in the garage wanting the tracking and camber sorted and its covered in dust, depressing to look at! Moneys tight at the moment for me too with work in the construction industry being slow and having to spend on the TT tyres all round and a few other bits and a thirsty pick up to fuel and trying to do some work on my house it just gets to the point where you think whats the point!! Worse still i have a mate who is willing to pay me more for my corrado than i could ever dream of selling it privately, But the mrs and my son wont let me sell it.....

Any structural engineers/surveyors on the forum? I need some advice!
joby replied to eugopnosaj's topic in Off-topic Chat
BIN IT, The way things are with the market at the moment any seller should be trying to rectify the issues you have, They sound like proper bell ends so i would pull out of the deal, The window company should know that any bay window is structural so should conform to bs! You say tie wire failure so i assume this is on a gable wall, if so can be expensive job! As with cars jason theres loads out there at the moment so dont rush in to a money pit, Good luck mate -
Nail on the head there too hot, They all think just because your selling something it means your skint, so they make stupid offers and mess you about

Ive had the same mate your not alone, had a set of TT comps for sale they were in fantastic condition and priced cheap, But that wasnt enough for idiots pming me offering me £100 and time wasters texting me saying they wanted them then not turning up, Its the vw scene i think! Full of young scrotes at the moment

I dont condone violence in any form but when someones messing with your pride and joy what do you do, agree about speaking to the parents, but somehow think this will fall on deaf ears, I know what my old man would of done to me if i had damaged someones car, Pay for it first then a good hiding!! Taught me some respect..

No one cares anymore so you have to fight fire with fire, but carefully!! Pay some kids further down the road to give the little ****e a good kicking and tell them you will pay them weekly to keep an eye on your car! Worked for a mate of mine, But make sure you find out who the hardest kid in the street is and use him.. Good luck with it...

Cant believe cv joints are obsolete? was that a main dealer that told you that? if so just go to euro car parts they will have aftermarket ones, And the wheel scrubbing on the inner arch sounds like your steering rack has been misaligned or something, have you had the tracking done? is it wearing tyres

Have you tried an oil change? making sure its the correct grade oil and good quality, may just be a gunked up cam follower, How many miles has the engine done? These engines sometimes can be a bit rattly on start up, Get an oil pressure check done at a decent garage if your worried about the pressure, Its easy to pull the sump and check the oil pump pick up pipe, failing that if the noise goes away after start up, live with it as it should be fine ---------- Post added at 5:23 AM ---------- Previous post was at 5:18 AM ---------- Reading your post again i`d say it was more than likely a stuck cam follower, oil pressure not building up in the follower, Mine did this the other day and the engine has recently been rebuilt but after a good thrashing it was quiet as a mouse

Yes mate they are very comfortable but they do sit very low in the TT ---------- Post added at 11:30 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:26 AM ---------- I think they look really good in the raddo too as the original seats are a bit dated now imo.
