Received mine - Thanks again -
That looks great...Did you test out the horn aswell just to make sure it still works. I know some people have had trouble with it before.
-
I know what you mean :) I set my display to show oil temp all the time so I know where Iam at.

cant remember how important those guides were beeen a while since I fitted one. I remember it needed to come off before the fan motors can be taken off so must play some part in keeping those fan motors in place ? My guides were a a pain to take out as they use a plastic pin to secure it in place in the first place and they easily break. Hence the reason I had to get a new one before.

Thanks for posting the vid...doesnt hang about does it :)

Thats one mean looking race corrado...I would love to have one in race form...Is this still road legal. I am liking the front headlights. Can you get some vids with sound on. Will this be coming up to track anglesey :)

I ve used the boss from the mk2 golf with power steering on mine. Before you take the old steering wheel off your corrado make sure the steering wheel is true and the tyres are straight.

Since the coolant change and fitting a grill that has all the slats open (mine had the 1 slat open grill type before with less air flow) when travelling between 60 to 70mph my temperature range is 102 - 106 degrees. It used to be a few degrees higher than this and it also cools a lot quicker when easing off the throttle now.

Just get the metal structure around the fan sand blasted and powder coated and it will look like new again. Think the plastic guides are 8 pounds each from the dealer you will need two.

On flat level ground. Have you tried using your weight to press down on either side of the front wing to check suspension travel. Does the suspension bounce excessively up and down or does it settle to its original position quickly. also I am sure I read you can check for engine movement with someone standing outside bonnet open with the engine running, hanbrake on, and engage first gear to get the bite and see if there is any excessive engine movement.

I got the black felt from my local Hobby craft http://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/Pages/Stores/ It already comes with adhesive at the back but thats not strong enough so you will need to get some thin double sided tape.

Hi DriverVR6 - Old rad elbow from my car is removed today so will be coming to you via post tomorrow. PS It is a scary component to remove as they are prone to crack :)

Would have loved to go to this but its a 6hr round trip for me. Any pics of the event.

A few weeks back I purchased 5 rear beige tailgate trim from forum member 87Jetta16V (Neal) to replace the set in my car that were badly cracked. I purchased some hobby craft felt and double sided tape and started retrimming any of the old/flat/tired felt that was there before refitting to eliminate any rattles. The double sided tape held the new felt in place very well no chance of them coming loose.

Very well written even a fool like myself can follow it :)

Long day last Friday. Took a 3 hr train ride down to kidderminster and a 3hr drive back home after all things brake related overhaul carried out by DG Autotech. Great service from Graham as usual. I got picked up from the station at Kidderminster and even got taken to the post office to tax the car aswell as it had passed its MOT the day before with no issues. The 3 hour journey drive back home was great in the sunshine with the sunroof open and with the BMC induction roar on tap. I was also caught up in the recent "fuel crisis" that day and was lucky to get some fuel to get her home too. Only managed to get some 95 ron fuel but cant say I noticed the difference in performance from the usual optimax stuff I usually go for. It was easier on the pocket too.
