Interested in the Rear Brakes (new calipers in 2007) could you post a pic of their condition. Are they genuine replacement. Where were they purchased new ? cheers

The rubber bushes for the radiator fixings are no loner available from VW when I last enquired at VW dealership.

rear or front footwell ? 1. Have you checked your door membrane to make sure it is fully sealed. 2. All the badges at the rear needs to have a blue gromit to stop water going into the boot aswell.

Had a dry spell so thought I will start on the aerial replacement. New genuine VW aerial antenna, OEM Antenna base and lower gasket all replaced. All sourced from ebay from different suppliers. Looks much better now compared to the discoloured and damaged one I had before. Reception on the radio seems to be a lot clearer too. The pillar trim needs to be opened up wide as in picture to aid removal of the rear trim. The rear trim in the centre also had dried mastic sealant in the middle section that needed to be cut with a stanley knife before it could be released see pic. I have also included a pic of the rear trim showing where all the fastening points are incase anyone wants to have a go.

spotted one cruising and taking its time on the M60 near oldham reg M8**WWF. Could have been a dark blue storm ??? definately had bbs solitude wheels.

Same with me mine...just plugged straight in with nothing needed to be removed first (late corrado vr6)

If you are arranging a local meet with other VW I will pop along to it obviously not in the raddo as I am wanting to sort out by hard brake lines at the moment. The weather at the moment is not helping for doing any of this work outside. I think I have seen around 4 corrado in this area.

I will be heading down to london on the M40 this tuesday (6th) so could pick it up from you on route if its convenient. If not it will have to be via postage...Would you know how much for postage ?cheers

A corrado 16v flew past me with reg K**ABU on the M56 today just after warrington Junction. Very Dark blue/purple colour.

I knew the aerial base was starting to crack up but was shocked to find the aerial antenna itself has disintegrated when I was inspecting the car today. Will need to find a replacement ASAP.

I got a varta silver dynamic D15 last year for £72.53 with a Capacity of 63 Ah from Manbat (collected myself from main depot so saved on postage too). Think Bosch does an equivalent called the s5 which cost a lot more. Just looking on halford website the bosch equivalent is £119.99!!!
