jamex are ok, the ones with the blue spring and helper spring on the front, my springs have now rusted after 9 months, and the rears make a arcing noise like a seal when on rough uneven ground, after endless faffing around i put up with it, didnt get this with my original vw suspension, could be a common trait with coilover?

im sure if you had a tooth out, it would run alot worse than what your describing, if your worried, get it timed and take some photos , of the intermediate sprocket cam, crank timing,to see if its in ok.do you have vagcom,or a code reader at hand.?

id take it back to stealth and let them have a look, vince has many years experiance on the vr engines, it could be a sensor problem, air mass meter. ?ect what is it delivering on the rolling road?

that bracket bolts to the nsf suspension tower, and the power steering reservoir clips into it. its held in by 2 10mm nuts.

ok bit of an update, just been cleaning and inspecting the body and engine looking for hidden corrosion.also been trying to get loads of parts ordered, im finding alot of stuff going obsolete :( . got my self a new front grille, and rear number plate lighting unit and cover, and loads of new new engine nuts and bolts,slam panel and wing fixing screws. next is a new rad, theromstate housing/crack pipe. ect.passat climatronic wiring diags.pdfCIMG0003.JPG[/attachment:zxfjxms0] -

ate are the manufacturer for the component, im just thinking what other sensors do we have on vw, that will fit,in which we may have to modify the sensor connection? this is a real problem, and we def need a solution. -

will do, just need more dough for parts, just trying to think hard on what parts will be going obsolete, so i can buy them now before they are gone forever.!! :brickwall: its gunna take a while to get it to a standard im happy with, tucked up in a warm garage with a pit, is very handy indeed, im very fortunate! -

the price is on the web site, i think, we at vw use them, and othe dealers so the quality of work is good, depends on what you want done, and booking them in. a few day i expect. let me know on the wheels, if you can get t me on them to me on the way than i would gladly give you the money, as my car is also very tight, see what you can do and let me know. cheers -

i first steam cleaned the area with some degreaser, around the battery/airbox trays,struts, ect, to get the real grime thats been welded there for 15 years ive been using tar and adhesive remover, from work. then finsh off with a coat of mguires polish, seems to do the trick lovely still gotta do the other side yet. just getting time to do it. :D -
