i dont think you can as all vacume will be lost in the servo, and you have no brakes, some one to confirm this, i havent tried it, but there is a seal on the sensor/servo ,to prevent vacume loss. -
engine size ? mileage? engine mods g28 you know about, will chuck a code up not running. 515-cam sensor , if you delete and it keep coming back prob cam sensor or pick up faulty o2 sensor can be caused by a few things, dribbling injectors, does the engine run smoothly, mileage, has the o2 sensor ever been replaced, should be replaced every 5 years or sooner, they wear/become less responsive as they age, if it looking old, and the connector and wiring are ok, prob replace the sensor. mixture adaptation , poss related to o2 sensor fault, is the car chipped and engine mods?

in all fairness, my 8v, takes roughly that time, 10-15 mins , i drive about 4-5 miles and its still not hot, 8-10 miles shes up to temp, double check the thermostate you put in, was this genuine? and didnt you submerge it in hot water before installation , seen a few duff ones in the past?

have you tryed both keys to see if one is faulty? check battery voltage should be 3v check this, if this fails recode them to the control unit, find the unit, undo the black box 4 silver screws, inside there is a microswitch press this followed by pressing the key fob button, they will then recode to one another and start working again, let me know how u get on. -
What these fault codes are please, 00522 & 00523

your issue may lie, on the ns channel below the battery, its a channel the wiring loom sits in, and ive seen many wiring chafs there, i emiled judeith about this a while ago ,to check this area, for damage.just twist the harness over and you will notice a sharpe edge cutting the loom, hope this helps.alex -

-
the inlet manifold needs to come off, ignition leads out, and then undo the ring of 10mm nuts that fold the cam cover to the head.kinda difficult to explain, just start slow, and remember where all the nuts and bolts go
-
engine ? 16v vr6 , 8v?
-
the rear main seal is ine behind the flywheel, gearbox out job, if its higher poss headgasket ,cam cover, doesnt look like a massive leak though.
-
i dont think you get masses of noticable power, ideally you want free flow into and out of the engine to allow it to breath better, i.e polish and port cylinder head, free flow exhaust ect, not sure where, but look for somewhere that does cylinder head work, google, your local area, for cyl head ,engine tuning.
-
could be coming from a number of places, i personally would clean or wash the area, with brake cleaner or something and run the car up inspecting for leaks, looking at that ,it looks like engine oil, so possibly - rear main oil seal sump headgasket cam cover gasket. clean and recheck for the leak .
-
yes i would say all connectors should be removed from the unit, the connector could of melted causing it to be tight in there, post a picy so i can see the connector, you may find that connector has melted and caused the short, resulting in the fuses blowing.
-
i dont think you have to cut it open,i think there a machine you can use, to clean the roughness of the casting inside, !
