This happened on my T4 . I had to start it the same way , until my ignition switch arrived . From what I've read and from what Yan is saying he's right .

I've been in an auto , not the same as owning one granted , but I thought it pulled really well . Obviously your restricted in the rev range , it changes up when it needs to , but I was impressed by how it drove . As for converting there are bits and pieces that need to be moved in the bay and obviously the pedal box , which is a bit of a faf . My opinion of them is , if I had one I would leave it as it is .

When you go to work in the morning and keep turning back to look at it , but not before you have checked it over for bird poo on the paintwork . Then when you get home you check it again .

Man I feel for you Jim . What a pain ! . You can hear it at 70 , with the radio on ?! Would a stethoscope be of any use , to pin pointing it ? . I know stealth have checked and they are experts , I'm just thinking of using something to amplify the ticking .

I still have a slight weep at the hinge end by the speaker . I still haven't removed the outer scraper to see why it doesn't fit tight to the door pin end . I've got a big show coming up on Sunday , I can't even be bothered to clean it ATM . It's been a very rough month ! .
