  1. OK . Which part is broken , that you need to replace .
  2. The pic on Heritage parts , looks like both parts , well thats what its showing . By the look of your pic you need the part that covers the top of the card and sits against the window ? and not the 'u' shaped part it slots on to .
  3. Yes , that's the part that sits on top of the door card . Butyl tape is great stuff . I use it all the time at work .
  4. Up load the pics using photo bucket Neal . Just my thoughts , but isn't 3.5 k a little cheap for s near mint G60 with 100k miles on it ?.
  5. I got to the screw ok Sean . It's the gap between the dash and the centre consol . I couldn't tighten the screw anymore .
  6. Good tip Chris. The little screw above the ABS sWitch is a pain . You always end up with a small gap !
  7. I'm sure it will be fine Sean . Mine were fine before the rear brakes and cables were removed . Now I have horrendous travel on the peddle . There is no air in the system at all . It will just take some Fettling .
  8. Thanks chaps . I shall order one .
  9. I didn't know you could get these , I replaced the clutch and brake rubbers a few months back . I would buy one too , it would make them look complete .
  10. I just bought one of those Kamper damp busters Goldie . Although I keep mine on the road all year the condensation build up is a lot when it hasn't been aired for a week or so . This would help loads with combating mould .
  11. Interesting . There's some lovely cars on here that could be used . Chris's car springs to mind and Dave's valver .
  12. I got my underside (rear of the car ) refurbed by my friendly mechanic. We were supposed to do it together, but my work load is massive ATM . I preferred him to do the brakes and lines anyway . I'm not keen on doing them myself.
  13. As Hasan said . This would be my next port of call .
  14. Hi Sean . I'm letting my friendly mechanic sort out the brakes , I just don't have time to do it and would rather it was done by him anyway to be honest , not that I don't trust myself , but it's an essential part of the car lol . I've already done the filler neck . I poked around it with a screwdriver and a Hoover lol . Clean as a whistle . I did it when I had the rubber surround off . The lip was always full of water , so the drain tube was unblocked too . I will let him know about the master cylinder. He said its been bled before the compensator and after . There's only fluid coming out ? Must meet up with you and Rog soon mate .
  15. Looks like Philuk has some , a few posts down .
  16. It's great having shiney new parts to fit . Hope to finish mine on Saturday.
  17. Well hopefully the stage is set for Saturday. The plan is to jack the car up and remove the rear wheels . Get the jet washer on any bits I haven't been able to get to as yet . Then give the shocks a good bit of prep and get them painted . Then get any of the last bits of underseal touched in . While the wheels are off I can clean the inside rims , they are filthy to say the least. I can get some decent pics while I'm at it too . The car goes back in next week as the brakes are shocking ATM . There's no air in the system at all , so a bit of work to do there .come rain or shine I will be on it ! .
  18. I had the cleaner too matt , but I left it in someone's garage ! .
  19. Not sure of the size , but they are available at TPS and Heritage.
  20. Mine is the same Sean. The travel is scary to say the least .
  21. I know Rog is a little busy at the moment , he will get back to you .
  22. More wee from me too ! . What a stunning car . Always been a fan of muscle cars . That V8 sound is awesome to say the least . You must be very proud of it .
  23. Oooof , the other money pit (above sig) gorgeous car .
  24. Glad you got it sorted. One down , one to go . Any news Jim ?
  25. The dreaded heater matrix. Always a joy ! .
