Thanks again Andy . Much appreciated .

I found them quite tight on the handbrake tunnel and removing them and getting them in was a bit of a task . Maybe the runners were a bit out , i dont know ?.

Ive never had heated seats ,I purchased my storm interior years ago but have never got round to fitting a loom , so forgive my ignorance . I believe it lives behind the door card . Im only wondering , as ive got a loom coming soon and i need to get it fitted . Why does it not go under the carpet by the tunnel and travel up to the switch and the fuse box ?.

Best of luck , i hope all goes well Jim . -
I spoke to the graphics shop today . He has been away , sorry for the delay . Well the news is that , he is telling me that because you cannot scan the badge the logo has to be set out by hand . This could cost £15.00 and it could cost £50.00. Now i know nothing about this game so i presume that what he is saying is right . Once they have got it bang on they will cost very little after that. If anybody still wants in can you put your names down please . So the more we have the less it will cost . Im not remotely interested in making any money on this , im just trying to make our faded badges look smart again . Once we have all the numbers of everyone who wants one we can work out a rough cost , see what eveyone thinks and i can say yes or no . Thanks for your patience . Kind regards Rob

Great idea . I had a go at trying to find a company that would make them in glass a few months back . But had little success .

Evening chaps . Im looking on ebay at the heated seat loom . Item no 2212277635066. They no longer supply the relays for this . Does anyone know what type goes with this loom ?. Sorry im not an electrical sort of person, can i just buy them or do they have to be made ?. Many thanks . Rob

I'm not sure about these . I have one too . Does yours have the straps to stop it blowing away in a gale ? . If so be careful , they scratch dark colours like ours easily . I have also noticed and this will apply to all covers , that in damp weather the wet will still seep up and underneath and while it's breathable the moisture is still trapped on the body of the car . But it will keep the rain off etc . I have placed two bin liners under the wipers to prevent next doors tree leaves going under the bonnet . Note to self Copper nail needed ! . I may well not use the cover this year and make sure it's fully polished and waxed .

I can't take the credit for it Chris. I got the idea from Hasan . Lol .

If you can't find the leak , a good idea is to remove the carpet , it's wet anyway . And as Gold says, the sound proofing will never dry if it's left in . Once you have just the floor pan showing . Sprinkle talc everywhere . This will show you where it's coming in from .

so the cam was gently tightened all the way along the shaft . Then each one was torqued in sequence ? . When I was an apprentice years ago . My boss always said forget the manual . Gently tighten down each one along the cam , keep doing this back an forth with a socket , looking to see everything is seated evenly . Tighten again back and forth . Only then follow the sequence to the factory torque . Bad day for you Jim . I hate it when things happen like this . It puts you on a real downer . -
If Heritage don't have them , then you will probably be looking at second hand. Have you just looked at the web site ? Maybe it would be worth giving them a ring , they might be able to source them from Germany.

Great work Easy . Mine was the same . I bought two new pillars , the windscreen broke too .

Congrats on the pass John .

I'm not at home at the moment . They are bigger than the rear badge . The front Golf badge is even bigger .

G60JET's Corrado G60 Jet (Updated 20th April)
robrado974 replied to G60Jet's topic in Members Gallery
Really like these . When Sunderland was selling or replacing the lump , I was saving for the paint on my VR . I came close to buying it . -
The rear badge is rounded , so you cannot apply the sticker . It would curl up on the edge . I have painted my one . The front is on order and I will have news on Monday .

I don't have a trade account . Most of the counters are friendly towards us Dub nuts . Go in to your local shop and have a chat .

Lol Wullie . I know what you mean , when your talking about running a Corrado as a daily . Hats off to those that do . Prices are rising now too .

I've always used TPS for my service parts . That's not to say the others are not as good though .
