  1. I've always loved it mostly because it's rare, but it has also grown on me as a colour. The colour is certainly a marmite one though.
  2. Could you also add a price, please. Cheers.
  3. Aftermarket wheels on Corrado's is such a difficult thing to get right, but actually compared to some of the things I've seen over the years, I sort of like those. A lot of times stuff looks too 'modern' if that makes sense as the Corrado just isn't a modern looking car. They seem to just suit it - and dark wheels look good with Blackberry Metallic I think :)

Simply putting the MK3 Golf GTI 288's on the front is a major improvement. I have them on my VR and they're night and day compared to the 280's :)
  5. Matt... my mind came back to these at the Classic Car Show last month at the NEC. I talked to a firm who do 3D scanning and 3D printing / reproduction of plastic parts. Obviously my mind immediately went to things like this that are small and should be simple (affordable) to reproduce. Would you like me to forward on their details - they seemed a pretty switched on outfit..
  6. Very cool - welcome to the forum. Sounds you're pretty handy with the spanners so will be interesting to see what you do to your Corrado longer term :) What sort of old motors do you build engines for then in your day job?
  7. They certainly need to do something, but this double points thing is insanity. I guess I'll reserve judgement till I see what the aero and of course engine changes bring to the table for the new season!
  8. Blimey - never thought we'd see you in another Corrado, Jeremy. Hope you're well :)
  9. I was going to PM her but I suspect she'll probably not be back. I will send one anyway.
  10. Precisely that. Closing duplicate threads on existing topics, and with links to things like this video is not something new - we've been doing it for years :)
  11. Cheers Andi - apologies for being oblivious on that one. If I had realised that, I'd have bumped her temporarily just to get the advert on. Doesn't look like that'll be happening now though :(
  12. Repost unfortunately chaps! http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=83023
  13. Worth adding that mine has Schimmel Performance SP263 cams and a DG Autotech remap.. and actually I think 203BHP isn't a great result given those mods, but I think my engine is getting a little tired!
  14. Well, again it's another one of those where we can only hope it goes to an enthusiast off this place who knows what that interior is and knows not to do anything silly with it :) Would be kinda cool to make a Campaign replica - retrim the rest of the interior, and get it sprayed Dusty Mauve. Bit of a big job to be fair but.. :)
  15. Good stuff :) Welcome to the forum!
  16. A valid point. I guess on the flip side of that if a low mileage or otherwise interesting Corrado comes up for sale, wouldn't we want to be the place to get it sold? Certainly a tough one.
  17. Guess the guy doesn't realise the significance of that interior!
  18. I must admit, it could possibly be clearer on what the rules are here - I can't find it written anywhere about how many posts you need to have to submit an advert. I'm fairly sure the only caveats though for selling are for people doing a 'breaking' thread and I'm quite sure we've had new users post sale threads. What happens when you try? The link for posting a new classified ad is here: http://the-corrado.net/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=57
  19. 203BHP according to the rolling road day a month or so back!
  20. Interesting colour - any idea what it is?
  21. Fascinating stuff :) Very cool indeed.
  22. Certainly an interesting motor - wonder what a nearly 200BHP 16v goes like!
  23. Good work - and always appreciate it when people update the thread with their resolution to a problem rather than leaving it unanswered :)
