Quite a lot of people use coilovers on here.. there's nothing that says they have to be wound right down to the lowest possible setting :) But even if they are then, well, that's the owners choice.

I've got one which has been powder coated a sort of grey colour. Would let it go for 15 quid but I think postage will be pricey because of the weight?

I don't think any purists are going to be overly upset. We're not talking about a flip paint job, 20" rims, and custom body kit.. just some stereo gear :)

Having done my own research into this, it was going to cost me similar money to get the VR6 badge reproduced - and that was without putting any kind of profit on either and just doing it for forum members, not as a business. It's just very expensive doing this kind of reproduction work unfortunately. That and, if you want a "Corrado correct" VR6 grille badge, you aint got much choice! :)

The 2.8 and R32 do both definitely have a very different sound to the 12v VR6, and your car does sound great Mic.. Though just to be controversial, I still think I'm more of a fan of the original engine note though :)

Should just add that this head unit allows you to pick from a number of different button and display illumination colours, one of which is green - so will help it to match the Corrado's illumination! Cheers.

Pioneer DEH-X6600DAB Head Unit I've decided to revert a few things on my Corrado back to original now that it's not my daily driver. Here is a Pioneer DEH-X6600DAB head unit which features FM/AM and DAB radio, a CD player, a line-in type jack and also a USB port for iPods and USB pen drives. Plenty of input, and also lots of ports on the rear for connecting to amplifiers and so forth. Taken from my Corrado this evening, and is in perfect working order. You'll need to find a DAB aerial - though I was just using the cheap Halfords ?20 film type and reception was *incredible* and crystal clear at all times. As an extra bonus I'll include a VERY tiny 16GB USB pen drive (you can see it up close in the USB port in one picture) to load up with your MP3's - it barely pokes out above the slot meaning you have 16GB of music nicely hidden within the head unit. Only thing missing is the plastic case for the fascia but this may yet turn up (I think I know where it is!). Thanks.
