I did say don't take it personally... I looked for a normal side on shot of yours through the gallery actually Nigel and I couldn't find one - only close ups of the engine bay and the interior. Again.. I just looked for four standard looking cars on their standard wheels and these are the four I got first! LowG, Well I did have the background as full colour brightness but I thought it was just TOO bright, and difficult to see icons that you put on the desktop. I'll upload the full bright version and you can make up your own mind on that one... :)

Thanks! :)

Well... its not too hot, but I got bored this afternoon and put together a basic wallpaper. Now, I did use images of four cars off this forum. Don't be offended if one of them wasn't yours - I decided to go for standard looking C's (including my old 16v) and these are the ones I picked or found first. The attatched wallpaper is only 1024 resolution. If demand is high enough (which I doubt to be honest) i'll upload a high resolution / 1280x1024 one. Let me know, or offer any feedback / changes you'd like to see. I can do photo retouching reasonably well but I am not too creative when it comes to things like wallpapers, so suggestions and comments are welcome :) Oh, and if you are any of the owners on there (Tom, Roddy, 'Fat Tony') want me to remove your cars, then no problem. edited.. see the front page / portal for the links :)

Got the car back now, and the alarm is fine... but thanks for the advice :)

Can't be a total piece of s**t if it kicked a Corrado G60's ass...
-
Hehe... I'll check the Saxo forum then as someone is bound to be posting about how they kicked a Corrado's ass :D Bear in mind as well that quite a few Saxo owners have taken the supercharger or turbo route as they are relatively cheap mods for cheap cars.. a full turbo conversion costs about £3000. Doubt it was a VTR though... as soon as I put more than one person in mine it goes like a slug.

Certainly looks it mate! :) I'm trying to work out why my R32 Corrado image never made it into the gallery.. I had an email off PVW when I submitted it saying they were going to put it in the mag so I dont know what happened. I guess i'll have to keep looking for next month! :|

Is yours the white 1.8 16v / G118 xxx plated one? Looks pretty mint mate!! :)

Roddy's is pretty low now.. he dropped his car about 65mm all-round. You can check out a bunch of photo's to see what you think over in this thread. Though there are a lot of things to take into consideration when decking a Corrado.. ask some of the 'low' owners on here and see what kind of damage they have had done. I personally would drop my car no more than about 20 or 30mm - it looks spot on, and should keep the car relatively unscathed.

No kidding. Just noticed the Lotus Carlton hiding away in there as well... my virtual garage is gonna rock so much :)
-
Yikes.. I wouldn't be leaving my C there!!

I did that for Gran Turismo 3, but then sold it to put towards my Corrado... Heh... looks like I will definately be buying a PS2 for this one again Just noticed its got the Bugatti Veyron, and the Audi RS6 as well....... mwahaha :)

Chris, They will be removing the door I think as they said about having to bake it in an oven or something to get paint to harden... so I suspect it will be coming off. Ant, Cheers for that... puts my mind at ease :)

I've just had a serious feeling of dread. My car is currently in the hands of Citroen getting some paint sorted on the drivers door. Now, I recently had a Clifford Concept 300 alarm fitted as some of you might remeber which has been great so far... My question is - does the Concept 300 have sensors in the door which are wired back to main alarm unit? I just have visions of some bodyshop guy pondering at the mystery cable and snipping it in half or something as he removes the door for respraying :| Anybody?

Wheel bearings? Not too sure to be honest.. anyone else at help out at all? :)
-
Oh boy oh boy oh boy :) Corrado, Lambo Murcielago, Pagini Zonda.. some of my favourite cars in there :D
-
One immaculate motor Roddy.. really is a superb example. But maybe because I am so used to 'ordinary' cars now but damn your car looks exceptionally low..
-
Wow.. thats just awesome. I will be buying a PS2 just for this game if it features a stable of tidy dubs :)

Ah nuts... was about to post these up. Sorry Mike, I headed out for a curry after posting the offer to get these uploaded  Scary... really scary... glad no serious damage was done.
-
Sorry for the lack of reply.. didn't notice this one. You can have modules bolted onto the Concept 300.. I was quoted an additional £100 for the Dual Zone (which is a great little addition) or you can just go right up to a Concept 500 which comes with module as standard. Which one is Piezo? Is that tilt sensor?

Mike, Edit your post where you had tried to attach the pictures. For each picture you want to attach, browse for the file in the 'Attach Picture' bit and then click the attach button. The browser should think for a few seconds and then go back to how it was. Then simply do the same again for every additional picture that you want to attach. If you have a problem getting em on, feel free to mail em to me and I will upload em for you : mailto:[email protected] :)

Nuts.. its been pulled. Was the Corrado VR6 on there???? Gran Turismo has always been amazing.. with a Corrado in there, i'd be very happy :)

Lol... imagine getting to the garage for a set of new tyres and handing over this huge keyring full of locking wheel nuts... you'd be Mr Popularity :)

Cai Golf G60 (fitted new G ready for bodyshop)

Love the BBS spokey wheels on a MK2 Golf... really looks the part mate :) If I was to ever buy a Golf, I'd like it like that :) Nice colour too! -
Its easy to overlook something like wheel bolts, especially as they are recessed in a lot of alloy wheels. Again, its a pretty messed up state of affairs where a crook (having unsuccessfully attempted to steal your wheels) leaves your car in a state which could have hospitalised or even killed you. Again, I am just glad that no serious harm came.
