*sigh* Take it to a bodyshop. Datz where id B takin me phat kitz and bonnet ventz when I get em sprayed up in mad 7 colour flipz!!!! werd! No.. seriously though.. I can't help you. Anything like this, I have always taken to the bodyshop to get done. You sound like you are already pretty handy with paint and spraying, but its really hard to match a glossy colour without the professional gear.

Look - I wouldn't still be here as a regularly posting moderator if I liked the Saxo more than the Corrado mate. Yeah, its only a 1.6 8v, but its an alright little car.. and its saving me a fortune from the bloody money pit that was my Corrado, and I think its great for that. I didn't buy it because I thought it was sportier or a better car than the Corrado in any way shape or form. I bought it to save me a few pennies, to have a manufacturers warranty still, but to still have a car that can still be fun & quick to drive from time to time.

Hm.. and from the ';)' you should have noticed that I was messing around as well. I've already explained on about 30 different threads why I decided to sell my Corrado... but theres no need to get the arse about it.

Less of the Saxo comments... we don't all modify em (and, apart from a handful of cases, consequently ruin them) you know! ;)

Hm.. its pretty tough to photochop wheels from a brochure shot like that. Its much easier when someone has a picture of them on a car, and you can transplant em off then :) If you can find some on a car, I can chop em onto someones C from on here... :)

I wouldn't say they are rare necessarily... but you don't get many of them around. Most people knock white C's, but I personally think they look as good as any other colour :)

I agree kev... 120mm will not only look pretty stupid, it'll just end up cracking various body parts, damaging the sump tray (as plenty of low ridin Corrado owners will tell you), and will handle terribly. Nice subtle lowering is the trick definately..

3 Slat Badgeless - not a big fan of the Oettinger grille! 3 Slat badgeless makes it look more aggressive :)

One thing I gotta know.. why do people remove their numberplates from the numberplate area, and then mount em down the bottom... Its not like I have a problem with it - your car, do what you like, but I am curious to know the reason behind it.

I was using Castrol GTX on my 16v Corrado - 15w/40 - used to run great, and helped reduce tappet noise I was experiencing before I had em replaced.

Audi RS4 & cloth cap? More like a 4 point harness and a clean change of pants. The RS4 is a proper machine!!! :)

I've never really been sold on the Lexus style lights to be honest.. the best ones are darkened / smoked style on dark coloured cars - seen darkened lights on a Blackberry Corrado and it looked the dogs danglies :)

I used to love the sound of my 16v engine actually.. probably the least impressive sounding of the VW engines, but used to make a great noise as you ploughed through the rev's when you were 'in a hurry' :) VR6 is great to listen to though.. specially when induction kitted & mated with a rumbly exhaust :)

Well i'd love some of those, but unfortunately at my age & earnings I was quoting cars that were affordable to me :)
