Wow - that is light! Presumably the 1.8T engine is quite a lot lighter than the old VR6 motor?

Depends which bushes you want to change. Most should be available from http://www.vwspares.co.uk or you could try your luck in the parts department of your local VW dealer :)
-
Don't switch to poly bushes - they'll stiffen the ride up. Stick to OE bushings if you want to retain some comfort still!

New genuine corrado n/s & o/s complete door mirrors £36.00 each on ebay ??

Definitely going to get a pair of these once they've been vetted / approved :) -
But if you go B4's you have to stick with OE ride height. I fitted B4's to mine on lowered springs and basically it killed the dampers :(

It's in the first post numbnuts :) -
The Koni STR.T kit is good. I used to run it on my 2.0 16v a few years ago. A modest drop of around 30-40mm and good damping - handles nicely without being too crashy :) Not too pricey either I don't think. Ignore the gaudy colour scheme! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Koni-VW-Corrado-VR6-91-95-STR-T-Suspension-Kit-/380663348972?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item58a14dbeec

I think the AP's are going to be a bit firm. Are you looking for an OEM ride height or wanting something a little lowered?
-
Very nice indeed :) Bet you'll be looking out for tunnels everywhere you drive now ;)

Wonder where the hell these came from then! Like you say, almost too good to be true. Will be buying a pair if these are indeed legit as the motor, heated glass, etc would be fantastic to get renewed. -
Corrado OEM style under bonnet soundproofing kit Group Buy
Jim replied to Hairyarse's topic in Forum Group-Buys
Disappointing people have taken advantage of a group buy price, like that. Goes against the spirit of the forum IMHO. -
Additional info posted on behalf of the seller: The initial ad was a bit brief and I've had lots of people asking for extra info so here is a bit more info and I've added more photos: The car is MOTed until September but has sailed through all of them since I've had it. Regarding the paintwork- I've added some pics of the blemishes. There is a mark in the lacquer on the bonnet. This was caused by a rather toxic bit of bird poo that I didn't get off fast enough a few months back! There is a scratch above the passenger side door handle, and the passenger side rear arch has a bit of flaking. The other arches are perfect. Ignore what look like small white scratches on the paint photos, they are fibres from the inside of the thermal car cover! These are all relatively small defects and the paintwork as a whole looks stunning. The only defect on the interior is four small screw holes on the passenger side of the dash, probably where a boost controller has been. The rest of the interior is immaculate and there is no wear on the mats, carpets or seats. It is currently running 310bhp, which I've been quite happy with whilst I've owned it and has been a good compromise between fun and reliability. The advice from Emerald was that the downpipe is a bit small compared to everything else, so changing this would give a big power increase, and there is a 14psi map to make use of the extra flow if this was done in the future. It was upgraded to K3 and the 3 way map switch added by Emerald in Norwich last year. Reason for selling: I have recently changed jobs and now have a pickup to use for work, and my wife works within a walk from our house. As we now have several cars and the pickup, we want something that can tick all the boxes for a fun and useful weekend car- so something with a big boot, 5 doors and a bit of poke. As much fun as the Corrado is, it's not exactly something you can throw dogs, firewood and camping gear in the back of!

Hi mate - I think the official way is to contact the secretary (Chris) on [email protected]. If you want to PM me or anything, I can bring it to the attention of the secretary though. Totally up to you.

Here's the link mate - though you need to be signed in to actually see it. I might suggest to Neil that we make it available to non-logged in users of the site too.. http://www.corradoclubgb.co.uk/ccgb16/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=148:corrado-club-agm-2015-announcement&catid=59:announcements Cheers.

Quite like the autogylm interior foam cleaner. Trying to remember but I don't think you have a leather interior? It's good for tackling the seats, headlining, etc. Spray on, agitate / rub in with a brush and then rub off with a clean towel or microfibre. As you say - better off taking the seats out - takes a few minutes and you can give em a proper vac, and hoover underneath, etc :)

Unfortunately it is very much a formality of the club and yes, it is pretty much sitting there for three hours. There's no way to sugar coat that. There's nothing to stop you showing up though, checking out the cars, and then scooting off for the free museum visit?
-
Nothing to pay - just show up if you're a CCGB member. It's just a meeting where we discuss direction for the club, present committee reports and so forth and members can vote on club decisions. Have a feeling it's going to be a real quiet one this year though :(

Really think it's time to see about changing redborbet's name.. ;)

Hi Rob - they're interested in the pump. Could you let me know an email address or phone number via PM, so they can contact / deal with yourself or your mate directly to complete the sale? Thanks.

Have to agree with this.
