Mines all wired, nearly, I but like you say again, I never come close to needing it, so I haven’t chased that issue. They move about dandy and are a lot more comfy than standard 👍

To be brutally honest that’s as far as I got. 6 years ago. Got Vince to power them up, movement wise, he did same as you. I had fitted the rest of the loom 5 years before that but never had them plugged into the fuse box so the heated bit never worked, same as you . You need some sort of jumper extension on the fuse box for the same coloured wires, hard to describe.

I would say you need to wonder about a supplier that has 10 brands with mostly what looks like the same photo. Don’t know just saying my tupence

Good tip I would advise to put a fuse on that brown wire. Cars have caught fire in and the past as when the switch packs in it can send heavy amps through that wire and it fry’s the back of the dash unless you can kill the power. I have experienced this almost disaster on 2 previous Corrado’s. It won’t happen to my current one though.

On an earlier Corrado I had, I had similar problems that you mention. it turned out to be the barrel itself and an intermittent seizing of the fuel relay, sometimes it clicked over other times not, I think the duff barrel burnt it out. apparently having a big bunch of keys hanging out of the ignition is bad for the wear of the barrel.

What you need is a Makita nut runner. Get the other side done and I’ll bring the lads one around and do them both at the same time. Done mine a few times 🤦‍♂️

When I was looking into OBD2 and looking at other peoples threads, they were upgrading components to fit the loom and it looked a bit much, if you change a load of components, do they all work as they should, which ones don’t? Vince did it so oe sensors and parts were useable. So it looks oe and spares are Corrado except throttle body. Obviously his cost was a substantial amount, but it didn’t require a raft of new stuff because of different plugs and he’s done it before and can get an immobile nightmare going reliably in no time once in shop. Like you say if you are time rich things are a little easier. It would be nice if there was something wrong with the ECU and they fixed it cheap, but unfortunately that’s not in Corrado DNA but we all live in hope 🤞

He was selling an inlet manifold on eBay and he hooked me up with the rest for reasonable money. I bought a new VDO throttle body.
